I got the lower in today. Looks pretty good. I was disspaointed with the fact the Hammer & trigger group are polymer. I read that they installed mil spec metal ones in the lowers. Other than that it's not to bad. I'm going to order a new trigger group for it. If anyone local has a milspec they want to get rid of just let me know.

I've not been to a gun show in 10 years. Last time I went everything was over priced. This one is 6 miles from the house but I will be on Tim's ford chasing post front Smallies. 

Yep, plus a few more.  I try to keep 9mm around that 10 dollars a box and usually have no problem.

my thumbs start hurting after a while if I shoot and reload mags a bunch. Yeah, I am a sissy. 

I really like the DDI line. I have a feeling that I will eventually have one in my collection. Let us know how it runs. Congrats!

You can do something like mentioned above or brine it. Try cutting up an orange, thyme, rosemary and a few cloves of garlic and stufing the cavity before baking. Use a dryrub on the outside of the turkey.

I always brine both chicken and turkey before cooking it.

Looks good JAB. I smoke a bunch of chicken and pork shoulders but have never ventured into the turkey.

I won't carry like that but the drill does look intersting. I like it.

No luck for me. They had them for .79 pound if you spend 25 bucks and limit of 1.

Mike, I think any time BHO offers up word of wisdom on gun violence someone in the media should throw out Chicago's gun stats..... I don't understand how all anti gunners get away with the Chicago stats. 

I like the G3 style rifles or the FAL. I really wan't one and Atlantic has a few on sale. M1A is a great rifle too.

I stopped worrying about printing a long time ago. As everyone has said most people don't know what's going on around them. I carry a fullsize M&P because if I need to use a handgun I want more than 7 or 8 rounds. Nothing wrong with the smaller guns I just like having the full size frame, grip and mag capacity.
