I just picked up a VP9 tonight. It feels great in your hands. I did not like the mag release but it has grown on me.

Something I have picked up on in the last few weeks of working at Academy part time is that we are the minority when it comes to gun owners. Most of the people I have sold firearms to don't really pay any attention to what the government is doing and don't understand what some of the legislation they are trying to pass will do. Most also buy the gun, plan on putting defensive ammo in it and never ever actually shooting it or training with it. Most of us here live the lifestyle and plan and train for the terrible things that could happen, most gun owners don't think about any of this. I guess I was just amazed to find out how many people own guns but don't fully understand the 2nd and are not what I think gun people are. Oh, you think listening to the media and the left try to use correct terminology is rough.... you should listen to most people I deal with call everything under the sun by the wrong name.... most of them that is

From what I was told tonight they did this after sandy hook too. Took guns down and put them under the shelf for about 10 days and then put them back up. Like I said earlier no one heard anything about the ammo issue. For what it's worth no one at the store level was pleased with the decision, the manager was Pissed.

I kinda like it The pose is a bit on the gay side....

No crappie, just a few bluegill. We were only out for about 2 hours. It's hard to really fish when all the pleasure boaters are knocking you around and the 2 year old is trying to jump out the back of the boat I found some schools of crappie or whitebass on a flat right off the channel but could not convince any of them to bite. It was hard staying on them with the wind and waves. Good luck.
