Yes, people still want it. You can find some dealers with it online from time to time but it's not common. I would love to get my hands on some seeing as how I got into the 74 game late.

They are cheap guns, I don't see a reason to sugar coat it. I realize that not everyone has a ton of extra cash to spend on high quality firearms I just hate seeing people buy crap guns when there is a wealth of knowledge online that will help point you in the right direction. If you are looking at the 250.00 range seriously take a look at the EC9S From Ruger, I think it's a solid option in that price range. I work part time selling guns so I get a first hand look and how bad some of these are, we probably send 3 or so Taurus guns out a week for repairs, Remington has gone to crap too.

It's about pushing a narrative, that's why the media used the semiautomatic weapon description, got to show how dangerous they are.

They are not telling you that. They are selling these guns because most people choose comfort over carrying a firearm with adequate capacity. Most people think they will hit with all 6-8 rounds and that guns are death rays. I hear it all the time at the gun bar " If you can't get it done with ( enter small number of rounds ) you don't need to carry a gun", F that. Most of these people don't actually train and shoot 50 rounds a year. Vent off

Don't agree with the SCCY part but will agree that it's the same old Taurus. If you want to be cheap I think the best bang for your buck is the Ruger EC9S, 250.00 and I would say much better that Taurus or SCCY.

I work with a couple young guys, 21. They are buying suppressors and SBR's at the moment. I keep warning them they need to stack cheap AR's while they can. I've told them the glory days of AK's and SKS's and how I was young and never thought about buying a whole bunch of them while they were cheap, kick my self all the time for that. The time will come where the AR is going to be expensive again, I hope you have a bunch squirreled away. I just added one of the PSA CHF 14.7 Uppers to my collection and finished that out with a lower Saturday night. I plan on adding a bunch more this year while I can.

Make sure you leave enough room between you and the vehicle in front of you so that you can maneuver out and gas it. I don't think many of us are going to out draw a guy with a gun already on you, in a car or out on the street.

I get that. I just know that most people with a family can't swing 11 bucks a hour. Something is better than nothing and like you said, off at 3 allows you to do something else too.
