    I usually rinse my mosin's out with water when cleaning them. However I must have forgotten to rinse with water the last time I cleaned it. I won't be making that mistake again.

    Well I got a chance to fire my M44. After a few rounds and a brush the bore looks as good as new! I am really suprised how good it looks now.

    I will look into that but the barrel has some pretty bad pitting. It has been in storage for a year so I'm not really sure what I did to it before I left.

    Well I went and picked up my mosin out of storage and when I ran my boresnake through it tons off rust came out of it. I guess I didn't clean it well enough before I left.

    I might have to take you up on that. From what I have heard they are really in pretty good shape though. Most have one small scratch or something like that.

    Full moon for a P225. It should be easy to take a blow dryer to it and get a custom fit if it's not right.
