    I just got word that work is cancelled tomorrow because of weather. I don't think it's that bad out here but you won't hear me complaining. I'm just glad my attic is dry.

    On the drive home from Nashville tonight, it was raining all the way home. Well, just a few miles from my place the rain turned into snow! Woot! So who else is getting some?

    Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I am very thankful that I am able to be home for my first Thanksgiving with my wife. My thoughts go out to all my brothers and sisters who are out in harms way and spending today away from their families.

    I have already done some rappelling, it's fun but doesn't give me the rush of jumping.

    Well it looks like I will spend the next few weeks rappelling out of helicopters instead of jumping out of airplanes, is that better? Haha

    Plenty of things actually.

    Well last week we had a Sherpa, and today should have been a MH-47. It is hard to get a C-130 or a C-17 these days for some reason.

    Is to jump out of a perfectly good airplane! The last three jumps in a row have been cancelled due to weather. Two last week because of a low cloud ceiling, and now this morning due to high winds. :facepalm:

    I have one of the CMMG bargain bin rifles and I have been very pleased with it.

    I like Palin, although as other have said she just does not "look" presidential to me. (Whatever that means) In fact the only person I saw the last election who looked presidential to me was Fred Thompson. I only wish he had really ran instead of his halfhearted attempt.
