I bought a T/C .270 Venture, took it outside here, and fired three rounds. The gun shot great. Upset part; I was reloading the mag put the second round in and the bottom came out, the tabs were broke. Called T/C they said I had to mail it back before they would send me another. Their customer service is not what I expected. I know it's a entry level rifle but the mag should last longer than three rounds.

We took it out and fired it in the rain today, just couldn't wait:) Very accurate, and easy to clean. It's a lot like my Sig in the way it breaks down.

Here is another great story by the famed Communist News Network (CNN). It is FOUR paragraphs into the story before they mention the Marine that was killed baby sitting this reporter. It is outrageous too me that our boys have to die baby sitting people that shouldn't be there in the first place. British journalist killed in Afghanistan - CNN.com

There are two water valves on a Ice/Water the one for the ice maker is on the same side bottom left looking at it. Check the Ohms to see if it is clog, some times they clog you can take it apart just be careful. Before you do that you can cycle the old one, take the front cover off, there is a big gear and small one, turn the small one easily and if it's stuck it will start to work. if you turn it and can't feel/hear the motor it's the maker. this is the parts house I use. Does anyone have/had Savage 170B .35 cal are they good, bad. Your thoughts please. Well I couldn't find out much about the rifle, so I bit the bullet and bought one anyways. It's recoil is somewhere between a .270 and a mule. It's a pain too tear down and clean but fun to shoot.

Here is what I meant by 9mm being more accurate than .45 At 10ft who cares, but out at a distance it matters. .45 is heavier and slower, it will fall off faster.

I started this thread so another one would not get:hijack: I am impartial to the varying brands that are out there. There are good ones and bad. Speed and accuracy comes from the shooter and the weapon. It has been my experience the majority of weapons built today will out shoot the shooter 99 times out of a 100. Speed and accuracy comes with practice, for someone to be the best you would have to shoot every day. A 9 mm is more accurate than a .45 period, But if you want to stop something dead in it's tracks, you can't beat a .45. Glock makes a fine handgun, (I do not own one) but have shot many. I see so many arguments over which flavor of Koolaid is best. It all taste good, some, make it weaker than others:) Yes I love the 1911 .45 and it is a time proven weapon, is it better than a Glock, it depends who is holding it. I have shot everything from zip gun, to a Browning .50cal, and I love them all. Glock, S&W, Kel-Tec and the many others that make light weapons have there niche. If you carry all day like Guards and LEOs you need something light and dependable. I carry a P226 and a Kimber .45 they are heavy at times. DaveTN you asked about varying priced weapons, I believe in the other post. I own two Kimber's and have fired many other 1911's. The best I fired was one that came from WWII it was my Great Uncle's, it was a great pleasure to shoot, I was honored he let me shoot it, I was about 13. I have fired Les Brown, Dan Wesson(older one) Colt S&W you name it even a cheap Chinese knockoff that fired very well. It is what you like. Cheaper guns are made fast and attention to detail is some times lacking. Les Brown, Wilson Combat, Nighthawk and others in this class hand fit and pay GREAT attention to detail.

My main carry gun is a P226 .40 it comes back on target quick. I don't notice the recoil, IMHO that's a grip thing, but then I don't think .45s kick bad either. 40s will have more knock down power, and disperse energy quickly, 9mm are fast very accurate, but close to a target you may get over penetration. Shot placement is the most important thing. With me the .40 is the best of both worlds, you get close too the accuracy of a 9mm and close to the knock down of a .45.

I use a P238 when going light.
