1. My Chevy Blazer with 250,000 miles started ticking at start up. I added 1/2 of a bottle of Seafoam to the oil. Drove it for 5 days (10 miles round trip to work) - then changed the oil. The tick went away. Now before I change the oil I add another 1/2 bottle of Seafoam for a week. This truck has a magnetic drain plug and is covered in "gunk" at every oil change.

3. Had this actually gone sideways, a brake check is considered an aggressive move.   I feel it's your fault for being too lazy to put your foot on the accelerator and speed up. You put on your four ways, you hit the brakes but all you really had to do was accelerate and get back over out of the way.
4.   There are a lot of places that give Veteran's discounts. Lowe's was mentioned. A local grocery store and restaurant give 10% off. If you didn't retire there's no way to prove your status unless you carry your discharge papers with you.   And as mentioned, it may even get you out of a ticket, or not.
5. I used a Copy 4 and a discharge certificate. And $12.
6. Vets can now get Veteran on their drivers license. http://news.tn.gov/node/11345 It's great for those of us who served but didn't retire.
7.   Does anyone know who said the red part in the quote above?
8. What does this mean? And as far as shipping autos, I faintly remember reading that its only with the USPS that's is a problem? I'm at work and on less than 3G cell coverage so someone with high speed internet, a little help?
9. It goes from the sub-committee to the full committee and then to the full House. If it passes the House then it goes to the Governer to sign and becomes law.
10. This is very bad news..... For my wallet!
11. So for someone browsing on their phone are Bali Songs still illegal after this bill becomes law?
12. I contacted my State Senator about this bill. I hope it passes.
13. http://www.newschannel5.com/story/20199124/dangerous-road-rage-spills-over-into-crowded-mall The incident started with two angry drivers speeding off I-24 and down Old Fort Parkway and to the Stones River Mall in Murfreesboro. When they got to the mall, one driver jumped out of the car and pulled a gun inside a parking lot crowded with shoppers. Police also said the two angry drivers did have proper permits for their weapons, but used incredibly bad judgment. They weren't arrested at the scene, but both could end up facing aggravate assault charges.
14. It's definitely user based. Most of the hits for Tennessee are near Memphis. Detroit, Mi is loaded, for example. We can make this better. And it will get better over time.
15. Here's an iPhone app that lists places in Tn that don't allow guns. http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/posted!-carry-list-anti-gun/id530004581 It's new and will grow with time. App Description: This application is for any gun owner! The purpose of this app is for the legal and conscientious concealed carry license holder to know where they cannot legally carry before getting there. A licensed permit holder or a resident of a constitutional carry state can usually legally carry their firearm in any location other than statutory "no carry" locations such as schools, gov. buildings, etc., and in locations that are posted prohibiting firearms. This is a list of those Posted locations. Find hotels where you can’t carry before booking a trip to one. Find restaurants where you cannot carry before making dinner plans. Find stores to avoid before you step out the door. It is extremely inconvenient to not find out until you get to a location that they prohibit your second amendment rights. You have to either disarm in the parking lot (causing your vehicle to be a target for thieves) or go somewhere else at the last second. If you know beforehand, you can avoid the places that prohibit carry, or you can leave your firearm at home if you must attend. This is Release 1.0 of the application. So far, we have a large number of "Posted anti-gun" locations collected in Wisconsin, Michigan, Kansas, Arizona, and Nebraska. We have assembled smaller lists in Florida, Iowa, Idaho, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, and Washington; all provided by many great gun forums and sites with their permission. Since it is crowd-sourced by users like you, please be patient while the list grows! The initial Database doesn't have listings yet for other states. Be the first person in your state to grab data and add it to the app! You receive attribution for listing, and will receive special thanks for starting your state's listing! This list is user-updated, and will continue to get better over time. But this relies on you! If you go to a place not on the list and they have a sign, please add it with a few clicks via the "Add Location" button! If a place had taken down their sign, get it removed the same way! If you already have a list of anti-gun businesses in your area or state, please send me an email. We would love to include any data you have collected, and give you credit for it!
