  1. I'm willing to bet that Tebow will be gone from Devner after this season anyway.
  2. What am I not getting here? UT has the same issues you say causes Tebow's problems. But it is ok for him and not Dooley? Give me a break.
  3. UT lost SS Brent Brewer for the rest of the year. Tore his ACL in the USCjr game. They will probably finish up 6-6. But they very well could drop the Vandy game. It should be a good game.
  4. EXACTLY what I was going to post. He wants to give Tebow 32 games but thinks UT needs to be kicked out of the SEC. This goes along with pretty much everything else he post on this site...
  5. lol ok....
  6. Wyatt, since you claim to be a OU fan. Imagine OU without Jones and Broyles. Now imagine OU without Jones, Broyles, and 2 out of 3 of the teams' best defenders. This is where UT is this year.
  7. Yea I don't think UT is gonna be going anywhere anytime soon. Vandy, UK, Ole Miss, MSU, Ark, and USCjr would all be gone before UT left. They bring in too much money, have too many wealthy alums, and too much tradition to leave. Dooley may not be the man for the job. I don't know, you don't know. UT is about where most sane people expected them to be. Before the season I though they might pick up either the UGA, UF, or USCjr game. After Hunter went down, I thought they might win only one of those. Then after Bray went out I knew we would be 0 for October. Just not enough talented upper classmen there yet. If it goes bad for the Vols next year, Dooley has a problem. Until then only mentally challenged people and people who know nothing about college football will be calling for his job.
  8. You won't get a debate from me about his record against the Vols. He owned UT when he was at UF.I think he has lost a step though, the old Spurrier would have went for the TD late in the 4th tonight. Maybe he has mellowed in his age.
  9. Nice work.
  10. UT is the only reason UT lost tonight. No positives came from this game for UT. None. Play calling was horrible. Starting Worley was a stupid decision. The onside kick to start the 2nd half was terrible. Dropped passes everywhere. The decision to go for it on 4th down when you are in FG range in the 4th quarter was idiotic. It would have been a one possession game if you make it. Spurrier made a nice call on the QB draw where they scored. UT was held on that play but it wasnt called. SC's first TD was a blown play by a LB when he got caught by the play action. It was more mistakes by UT that cost them this game than anything Spurrier or USCjr did.
  11. Mostly Remington Sub-Sonic. I like CB's too, but they won't cycle the P22.
  12. Sweet set-up! Did you go with the AAC upper or another brand? The 300 BLK has my intrest, but I have another SBR project I have to finish first.
  13. Amazing post. You made me really want to get down there and see it. Fantasy of Flight is the only big aviation museum that I havent been to. My Dad is a private pilot, so we have been going to shows and fly ins since I was a small child. He has pictures of my brother and I at the controls of his Piper when we were just 4 or 5. The great thing about Fantasy of Flight is that one man owns all the aircraft. His name is Kermit Weeks. My Dad has met him a few times at Oshkosh. He says he is really down to earth and loves to talk planes and flying with anyone. If you guys havent been to Oshkosh, you need to go. It is the biggest fly in in the country. Any plane you can think of, someone probably has one up there. It is amazing. A lot of people camp under the wings of their planes all week. Some colleges even open their dorms up for people to rent and stay in. I think around 500,000 people came to the show this past July. For that week, the control tower there is the world's busiest.
  14. That would be the one.
  15. Bama and LSU should just play a best 2 out of 3 and let that winner be the National Champion.
  16. Vanderbilt Children's does some amazing work. But sometimes God just has a different plan. The people who work in childrens hospitals are saints. I couldn't handle the loss of so many children. Again prayers to your friends.
  17. Full length rail Springfield Operator.
  18. So sorry to hear. They will be in my prayers.
  19. Damn, they are proud of it. I can't see giving $30 for some un-aged whiskey.
  20. While I don't have any first hand experience with a Chauchat, it has a horrible reputation. I saw one for sale last week at the machine gun shoot for like $6k. It had a sign under it that said, "This gun is a piece of crap. Unless you can perform miracles, it will never run right."
  21. Last week on the way up to the Knob Creek machine gun shoot my Dad, one of my good friends, and I decided to start the bourbon trail. We went to Heaven Hill, Barton Distillery, and Jim Beam since they were on the way. We had been to Makers Mark before so we decided to skip it. We plan on doing the eastern distilleries sometime soon. Just wondering if anyone else has made the Bourbon Trail or has any plans to do it? Out of the KY distilleries I've been to here is how I would rank them. 1.Makers Mark- because they let you see the whole process. From mash to still you see it all. 2.Barton-They actually distill here on the property, and they show you the stills. 3.Jim Beam- They don't show you any of the process really. They just have models they take you around and tell you about the process and they take you through a barrel house. 4.Heaven Hill- Just take you through a barrel house and let you watch a movie. They don't distill on the property, that is done at a plant in Louisville. I hear that Woodford Reserve is the best out of all the KY distilleries, but I havent made it up there yet. I hope to soon though.
  22. I just read that the Raiders will only have two draft picks next year. A 5th and 6th round. That is crazy.
  23. This. And I will add that if you are lucky you will love what you do.
  24. For the kind of job you want you will probably need to be close to a big city with a big police department. Memphis, Nashville, or Knoxville would be where I would be looking. I would think that would be a pretty hard field to get into just about anywhere.
  25. I would buy the farm next to my Grandfather's and build a home on it. I would get my Dad a new airplane. Basically buy my parents and grandparents anything they wanted. I would give some friends of my family enough money so that they could retire. Help some of my friends out who are getting started in life, buy them a house, pay off students loans, set up their kids a college fund, etc. I would give large amounts to St. Jude Children's Hospital, Vanderbilt's Children's Hospital, The Sarah Cannon Cancer Center, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Alive Hospice, and Wounded Warrior Project. I would give some to my old high school. I would give enough to UT to get a box at Neyland. As far as personal stuff I would buy myself. I would get a home down in the Keys somewhere. I would buy some cars and trucks. I would get a 26' Chaparral Sunesta to play on the lake with. One of the big Fountain 47's to run offshore with. A SeeVee center console for day trips and a Viking for long off shore trips. I would buy some of the older rare machine guns. Stoner 63, Colt Thompson, some of the early prototype AR15/M16's. And I would join Net Jets so I could have a Gulfstream or a BBJ ready to fly me away whenever I wanted. I would invest the rest and probably start a business.
