  1. I tried New Belgium Fat Tire tonight. I had heard so much about it on here that I had to give it a shot. It turned out to be a good decision. All I can say is mmmmmm. A VERY good beer, a must try! -Jason G

    Jobs? Anyone?

Check on craigslist, there always seems to be general labor jobs posted on there. -Jason G
  3. Daniel, one can of the tactical bacon and you keg of Guinness should keep you going for at least a few weeks. -Jason G
  4. Yea I think its best if we leave it alone. If you are not an FFL with an 02 SOT its best if you dont even ask. -Jason G
  5. Here is a video from youtube. It's a good basic how to for the lower build. Part 1 Part 2 -Jason G
  6. Thanks guys. I'm glad to be here and I will help out in any way I can. Joe, all I can say is WOW! I cant believe that you broke out the Hoff just for me. Thanks man! -Jason G
  7. There are fields out there, but finding a good field is the hard part. Too bad we dont have a place for a TGO dove hunt. -Jason G
  8. Ever think he might have been a "gun guy" and was curious to what you had? And what what you thought about that make/model? -Jason G
  9. I dont think it is. But then again when I first messed with a HK-416 I just knew it would be a "do all, end all" for the military. But then they decided to stay with the M16/M4. Shows what I know. -Jason G
  10. We fish on the Obey River and its tailwaters below Dale Hollow dam. There is a trout hatchery right below the dam and they stock the small creeks once a week in the summer, i dont know how often the river is stocked. We used to use spinning reels but have been using fly rods for 4-5 years. All the flies are very small, like 18's or 20's. The Bass Pro Shops in Opry Mills has a fly shop and they have fishing reports for all the local spots for what has hatched and what flys to use. I would encourage anyone who is thinking about getting into fly fishing to go check them out, they helped me a ton. -Jason G
  11. There was 50 round boxes marked $50 at the RK Gun Show today. I asked him how much they were and he said $50. I said, "wow thats a good deal" and walked off. -Jason G
  12. Glocks are ugly but they work every time. I personally dont like the trigger pull on the XD's. Trigger control leds to accuracy or lack there of. And you can put a Glock through anything you want to and its still going to run. Glock all the way for me. Just my opinion, and you know what they say about opinions.... -Jason G
  13. Frank is a real piece of work. Once at a Goodman gun show I saw him take a customer out behind a building and shoot a .22 with a can on it into the parking lot and came back in laughing about it. I have also seen him in very loud cussing matches with people at gun shows. I dont know what they were over, but once I seen this becomming a pattern I knew to stear clear of him. My brother got one of the AOW 870's and it went through with no problems, I guess he was a lucky one. He wanted to sell me a raffle ticket but I had never trusted him so I passed, but my brother and one of my good friends bought one and never heard anything out of him. He is a piece of and he will always be a piece of . -Jason G
  14. If you are around guns/re-loading long enough chances are an accident will happen. Like you say, safe gun handling will prevent an accident from turning into a tragedy. Glad you are all ok. -Jason G
  15. From everything I know/heard about the SCAR, it is a great rifle. But as others have said I cant see paying what they are going for right now. Another thing, until there have been 1000's and 1000's of them shipped to civilians you really dont know if they are going to last. Anything new is always going to be hot. But if they are still selling for $2000+ in a few years I really dont know if they are here to stay. -Jason G
  16. Yea if you dont have anything nice to say dont say anything, espically on the day someone passed. RIP Farrah. -Jason G
  17. Sounds great, I was worried that it was going to be on Knob Creek weekend, but Knob Creek is the weekend before. I hope to see you guys there. -Jason G
  18. I think these are a very good idea for anyone buying or selling fom ind. to ind. -Jason G
  19. Huh? -Jason G
  20. I really cant believe we are having this discussion. What has our country come too? When a man gets "wrote up" for saying the word gun, somthing is wrong. I agree with what some others have said though, let it blow over, keep getting a pay check. And when somthing better comes your way tell them to get screwed. -Jason G
  21. The only thing you have to worry about shooting Wolf is the hardness of the steel case wearing the throat on your barrel. The new Wolf stuff is polymer coated to help "slick" it up a little. The old stuff had a lacquer coating on it, and when the gun got hot it gummed up the chamber. I have shot Wolf through my AR's, I prefer brass but if Wolf is all I have then I shoot it. I personally know guys who have shot 1000's of rounds of Wolf in a weekend at MG shoots with no problems what so ever. Have you ever thought about adding a .308 "battle rifle" to your stable? FAL's, .308 AR's, HK style .308's, and M1A's are the most popular out there. I prefer an M1A myself but thats just me. -Jason G
  22. No JD, so I'm slumming and drinking Johnnie Walker black tonight. -Jason G
  23. Yea it sounds that way. Thats all we are doing when we run them through a sizing die. -Jason G
  24. We use pulled bullets to re-load .50BMG. They work very well, but you have to run them all through a sizing die. If the pull marks are too bad we trash them. -Jason G
  25. Sorry about your loss. It may not feel like it now but the pain will ease with time. He sounds like a great man and like you made many good memories to think back on and remember him by. Prayers are comming your way. -Jason G
