  1. Neither one of their's have ever had any problems with FTF's or FTE's. The ports do throw a flame out. When you shoot it at night the bright flash does take away your natural "nightvision". All around they are nice pistols. I have been looking for a 6 inch V16 for some time, but just cant find one for the right price.
  2. Yea my Dad and brother both have them. They are one of the softest shooting 1911's I have ever shot. I think you will be very happy with it. Is the one you are looking at all stainless?
  3. Man those look amazing, especially the water.
  4. Looks good. Good job!
  5. Automatic=Kahr PM9 or PM40 Revolver= S&W 642, 442, 340PD ($$$$ but very lightweight)
  6. Tell that you the guys serving time in federal prison for having unregistered machine guns. Or better yet, you try it and see how that works out for you.
  7. No doubt about it for me. I would get the M1A. There is nothing wrong with the FN, but its no M1A. You can get all kinds of aftermarket parts for them if you want to go that route. They are accurate enough and they just look badass. The only drawback is mounting a scope. You can do it, but the mounts are expensive. I would get a Loaded with the walnut stock and a Smith Enterprise mount. M14 Parts & Accessories: Smith Enterprise, Inc.
  8. I like the looks of a slider, but i think the fixed stock is alot more rigid. All of the slider stocks just feel loose and have a "slop" to them.
  9. Yes and you still can buy a machine gun. Yes on both the Thompson and M14 (and you can still buy one for the right $$$$). Thompsons have always been expensive. But even in the early 1990's you could still buy a MG for under $1000. The prices exploded in the last 15 years.
  10. Dont listen to this guy. This sneaking around with a .50 and shooting on land that isnt yours will get you put in jail and on the news. We already have one idiot giving gun owners a bad name on the local news. We dont need another.
  11. A good reminder of what can happen if you drink and drive. I dont go out on New Years. Bars are too packed and the drunks are out in force. Plus UT is playing on New Years eve this year.
  12. Good luck with the USO. Those babies are hard to find and very $$$$$.
  13. I can't wait till this starts. If it is anything like Band of Brothers I will be watching it over and over again.
  14. Cherokee is just ok to me. I didnt have a bad experience when I was there but it wasnt anything to write home about. I think Demos is better and they have good prices. I would check out Mortons on Church St. downtown. Morton's The Steakhouse - Nashville Or Ted's Montana Grill out on West End. They have bison steaks that are awesome (they also have great beef too). Ted's Montana Grill
  15. I like a M11/9 better than a M10/9. The M10's are just too big and heavy.
  16. Glock 22
  17. Seems like lots of JD is going down tonight.
  18. Great news! Nothing better than to be healthy and with your family on Christmas.
  19. Glad he made it home to be with yall Mike. Thank him for his service for me.
  20. Nice deer.
  21. Congrats!
  22. GREAT looking stick. I love the M40A1 clone builds. I wish I could come across one of those stocks.
