If he has an HCP I would sell it without a second thought. Legally, for you, TNDL should be good enough, if you get a copy for records sake, I probably wouldn't think twice about it, that way if someone comes knocking you can always show documentation.

nice shooter, I also don't care of the texture but like the others say, if form follows function.

glad to hear you are making good progress.

I will be going with the evo also but not till next month when my contract is up. decent timing could have been a bit better but fits just right I suppose. I think sprint has a pretty good plan also.

Here are a pair of funny Chinese pictures, I am back in China as I am every month for work. So I thought it might be worth a laugh.

I'm in Beijing for one more night, if you get this and want to have a drink send me a PM. After that Shanghai till Thursday then back home... I am in Beijing about once a month, always at the Landmark (w/ the Hard Rock). Oh and I have two, duel citizenship. No, not China.

I have not owned one nor have I shot one, that said, I have heard mixed reviews on the trigger and some other bits... I have also heard that after a bit of a break in period they are just fine.

I am back in China this week on business, so it is 8:00pm here. A Saturday full of business meetings and coal sales. Finally back at my hotel, which has a Hard Rock on the ground floor, looks like drinks tonight.

They keep calling to me too, one day I will have the funds.

i will probably have to get my hands on one. might wait a year or so, but sooner or later one will be mine. even though the .22mag doesn't really fill some big niche area for me, i just like it somehow.

Well I might just have to stop over at the Safe House and take a look, its dangerous because if I see a really nice one and then one that is a bit more budget I might be swayed to spend the extra coin. I will keep up the search, I also was reading some of the older safe threads, and I might have to go bigger, might as well get a big one now and fill it up over time.

As I'm sure this has been talked about a number of times, but things change and someone might have spotted a good sale recently I thought I might as well as. I am looking for a decent safe. At least 4x (or more) long guns, and 6x (or more) handguns, and all the ammo and goodies I can fit in there. I am not cash strapped, but I am trying to buy on a budget. I don't want something that is easy to break into but I really can't afford to drop 1k on one either. Thanks for the help, if you spot a good deal somewhere let me know, if you have what I am looking for and don't need it anymore PM me, or if you know a nice local (Nashville area) shop that is good to deal with that would be good too. I will get back to google searching some good deals. john.

other than a used glock this was my favorite read from the list, but this is a little outside the OP price range i believe, i like the .22 suggestion

like a lot of folks (i assume) who post for advice on here, or ask for advice from anyone, i probably had my mind made up ahead of time and the land cruiser will be mine! but of course thank you for the advice, always appreciated.

Gas mileage isn't a huge deal for me, I won't be driving a HUGE amount, and won't be making a cross country trek with it. Also, unless there are more floods, i don't plan on much offroading with it (i have a '69 Bronco for that good stuff) I don't like the sound of a 1k stater fix... I believe it has 89K on it, and he said other than the little stuff it has never needed a major fix, so that might be something that is on its way.

Has anyone ever owned one? Loved one? Hated one? I am seriously considering picking on up, a buddy has driven it and knowing him it has had regular service and such. He has to get rid of it, and I am thinking about picking it up. I hear they drive forever and obviously they are used in some pretty rough and tumble areas of the world. oh and by the way its a 99, which is fairly hard to think of as more than 10 years old. But I like to buy them 10 years old and run them till they absolutely cannot move another inch.

Review of LMS Defense 1-Day Pistol Clinic; Waverly, TN; April 17th

great review, glad to hear your family had a positive experience and a good time was had by all. -
This is difficult to say, but I don't think I love it. The styling and 1911R1 on the side... I just love the DW minimalist slide look... But the price is just right on this one.

thanks, i will post a few of the other projects, i found a nice piece of wood that is 7 or 8 feet long and about 1.5 foot diameter that is complete mineralization the thing feels like stone, unfortunately it is heavy as stone. when i can find a way to get it out of the little cove it is in I want to cut it in half and make a shelf out of the thing, but that is a big project... i will post a few of the new ones as they come along, I did find some nicer small pieces that I have some plans for.
