  1. I don't think the statement shows any arrogance and self importance. If I was in his shoes I probably would not have obeyed any commands from an intruder just like what you said.. But put yourself in her shoes. You walk into "your" dark apartment and see a figure. I would probably drawn my gun and being barking out orders just like she did. I don't know whether I would have shot or not but I can see how this situation went to sh*t real quick.
  2. I did say some additional info...yours did not mention that she supposedly gave verbal commands that were ignored just that she saw the figure and shot him.
  3. I think the only gun I ever remember the .41 AE being chambered in was the Desert Eagle. I always wanted one of those kits with 2 frames and barrels in 9mm, .357, .41, .44 and .50. Not practical but always thought they were cool.
  4. That is a shame but nothing really surprises me anymore.
  5. Not sure about moose bites but I have seen a couple nasty moose knuckles...
  6. I kinda hate myself for laughing at that.
  7. Anybody else notice how the FBI didn't "find" them till after Hillary had been defeated....I guess they didn't want to make it to easy for Trump. lol
  8. That should be a good deer rifle for hunting the thick stuff.
  9. I think what you are referring to is that some guns shows require private sellers that buy a table from the show to preform background checks. It only effected people who set up booths/tables at the show not the people just walking around.
  10. What length is the barrel? I am a big fan of the 45-70.
  11. Got invited to hunt down south of Eagleville. The doves were flying. Unfortunately the direction they were flying took them over the field beside us first. That field had some good shooters in it. Not a lot of doves made it to our field. The ones that did were moving fast. We only got 20 doves between myself, my cousin and his two kids. The majority of the doves were taken by the kids. I got the first dove with the very first shot I had ever took with my new to me o/u. It went downhill real fast after that for me. Still was a great, albeit a little hot, afternoon.
  12. Sign up for a benefactor membership here and sell them on TGO. As for RK shows, if someone wants to buy your guns you will have to do the transaction in the parking lot instead of inside the show. There is nothing illegal or shady with conducting the transaction in the parking lot. Bottom line is do whatever makes you comfortable.
  13. I see those emails all the time but have really never paid them any attention. That really is a good deal. Wish they did it on firearms. lol
  14. I sa this the other day and thought what a great idea. I would have sent $50 in the first day of school.
  15. I will be out on the first trying not to miss to many doves.
  16. TWRA is reporting 772 antlered deer were harvested in last weekend’s inaugural velvet deer hunt.
  17. Don't be to sure, before the change he was pussyNprofligacy
  18. I was in tree yesterday morning and didn't see anything. Did feel good to be back in the woods.
  19. This is a good thing. Now that they are not in cages we can hunt them. Thanks PETA.
  20. Our very own ShaunM got a nice velvet buck today.
  21. It is kinda cool in a ugly retro way.
