  1. What @Garufa said. Also, if you get it back together I would not shoot it. The old Colt DA's have a very fragile action. They are mainly wall hangers today.
  2. I wasn’t able to get out today. Would have been a nice morning to be out. I did see a good buck yesterday but it was while I was on the golf course. Lol.
  3. That is pretty cool. If you are running a red dot or reflex I like how they stay stationary. You see some race guns built this way.
  4. My Saturday morning is booked but I am going to try to get out Saturday evening and Sunday morning.
  5. After seeing what this stuff sells for on the secondary market I can't decide if I want to open it or not. lol
  6. Just picked this up. Going to have save it for a special occasion.
  7. Looks fairly easy. Thanks for the video.
  8. I believe it drops all the way. I guess it is time to watch some youtube videos on how to replace a hammer.
  9. I understand this is all speculation until I get it checked out but want to hear some of y'al's thoughts on the issue. I just bought several 1911's in an auction. Here is what is happening with one of them. If the slide is locked open and press the slide release while holding the slide and bring it into battery, the hammer stays cocked like it should. If the slide is locked open and I press the slide release and let the slide close on its own, the hammer drops. Does this mean that if the slide is locked back, I insert a loaded mag and press the slide release to chamber a round that it will slam fire? I have never had a hammer drop like this from the slide shutting. Thoughts?
  10. They are great looking rifles.
  11. Remington Speedmaster and a suppressed Ruger 10/22.
  12. I want to watch you tell Buzz it didn't happen. He usually doesn't take it to well.
  13. Marlin Model 60 .22 rifle. Kept it for 30 years till I gave it to a cousin so he could give it to his son for his first gun.
  14. It was a nice morning. Didn’t see anything but my nephew saw 10 does. They all stayed out of range though.
  15. I know what you mean. I am getting excited for Saturday morning.
  16. No, just resourceful. A snowflake would just fine and want somebody else to spell it for them.
  17. I thought this was the answer. I know it has been considered. I doubt it will pass but it would nice if it did. I believe Mississippi allows single shot rifles during primitive season.
  18. I have not heard anything about this. I will do some checking tomorrow and see if I can find anything.
  19. Looks like low 50’s Saturday morning. Should be nice. Hopefully the deer will be moving.
  20. It wasn't a porthole, it was just a hole in the boat.
  21. Had no idea. I always thought it was a R rated movie. Well it still scared the crap out of me especially when the head fell out of the port hole window under water.
  22. I could be wrong but I do not remember my model 10's having the large SW logo on the right side. As for price I would think $200-$250.
