Nothing was moving this afternoon around me. Saw one tail walking back to the truck but that was it.

I am fixin to head out and sit till dark. At least it is a little warmer than it was this morning.

Larry is doing ok. He has had some health problems and computer problems. I spoke to him a couple of weeks ago and he said once he gets his computer problems fixed he will start showing up more often.

The way I read it is that you have to report it within 5 days after you find out it has been stolen.

Looks nice but at $2500 I don't see them selling many. There are to many other options out there in that price range.

Not sure on the thread pitch. Is there an easy way to determine thread pitch?

I am considering getting a .30 cal can for one of my hunting rifles. Before I buy one I would like to test fire the rifle with and without the can. I want to make sure there is enough of a reduction to justify the cost. Anybody in the Nashville area have one and wouldn't mind me tagging along the next time they go shoot? I am thinking about putting one on one of these two Kimber rifles.

Does anybody use one of these small propane heaters you attach to a small bottle while hunting? I am wondering if they put off any kind of smell. The older I get the less time I can sit out in the cold.

This thing is pretty cool. I didn't even know these existed. This one is chambered in .416 Rem Mag and the capacity is 8 rounds. If I was doing a lot of dangerous game African hunting this would be on my short list of guns to get. This one is being sold in an auction. Preauction estimate is $14,000.

I don't have any first hand experience with the Compass but I have owned a lot of TC rifles over the years. All were dependable, accurate guns. I have not bought any new TC guns in a couple of years so YMMV.
