  1. Right now people are speculating on the G48. The official stats have not been released. Because of the width people are guessing that it will be either a single stack of a staggered stack but not a double stack. I do not think the dimensions will be officially released until Shot Show.
  2. So it looks like it is .16" narrower and .08 shorter than a G19. Is that enough of a savings in size to give up 5 rounds? Single or stagger stack guns grips feel better to me than double stack grips to me. It will be interesting to compare a 19 and 48 side by side.
  3. Nice. I will stop by tomorrow and get some. My other have died. Perfect timing.
  4. Besides the obvious, ShootersNation, here are a couple more I like. The Pat McAfee Show 2.0 - former punter of the Indianapolis Colts - really funny guy. Heartland Radio 2.0 - the rest of Pat McAfee's crew with their own podcast. This last one a lot of you probably will not like. It is two very liberal, feminist, New York female comedians. They interview a lot of people whose ideas and opinions I would never be exposed to. Some of the stuff I agree with and a lot of it don't but it is always interesting to hear other peoples views and opinions. The podcast is called: Guys we F*****, the anti slut shaming podcast
  5. Here is a buck from Brentwood back before cell phones had good cameras.
  6. There are quite a few in Williamson County. It is not uncommon to see them when walking at Crockett Park.
  7. Don't think you can legally posses one in TN just for that reason.
  8. There are quite a few albino deer in middle TN. I would think they are safer than most deer from poaching. A normal buck you can display and there is no way to know if it was poached or not. Can not say that about an albino.
  9. Actually just walking to your stand 1 min before sunrise or after sunset is a violation. Can’t have the thermal before sunrise or after sunset.
  10. I finally took my 1911 to a gunsmith. Whoever messed with it before I bought it had filed on the sear and the hammer. Replaced both of those and added a Wilson Combat beavertail. It now functions like it should and has a fantastic trigger.
  11. We had out company Xmas party last night. I got talked into buying 5 shots of 15yo Pappy Van Winkle. Not worth the $110 per shot but it was really good. We had guaranteed to spend a certain amount on food and liquor and were a few dollars short of our minimum. That's the only reason I sprung for the good stuff.
  12. A few new bottles I picked up. I am not a big fan Belle Meade bourbon but this cask strength Reserve is quite tasty. It has a really nice burn at 114 proof.
  13. I think he was saying you have a nice butt.
  14. Around here 140 is a big deer. Must have been hard to let him walk.
  15. The problem for hunting is legal shooting time is 30 min before sunrise and 30 minutes after sunset. So if you are in your stand before or after legal shooting time it appears to be a violation.
  16. It’s the season of sharing...just saying.
  17. That is all I use in my Marlin 1895 in 45-70. It cycles great and is very accurate. My 45-70 is the only gun I use LeverRevolution in, everything else is either core-lok or something similar.
  18. Damn. That is a lot of snow.

  21. I was going to point that out but I am not as rude as Steelharp...
