No. Treated clothes are good for several washings. I forget the exact amount but I think it is like 6 washings. I have done this with my turkey mesh facemasks. Once the permethrin dries it supposed to be fine. I do not know if they have done any long term studies so I can't say for sure but I hate ticks so I still do use it.

Picked some of this up recently. I got the barrel strength and a couple of the small batch bottles. This company has a cool back story. It was started by a couple of Green Berets the movie 12 Strong was made about. That is where the name came from. The mold for the bottles was made from i-beams from the twin towers. Franklin Gun Shop is well know for their high, take it or leave it prices. Great place to look at guns but getting a fair deal can be a challenge. It can be done but it should be easier than it is.

For the first time in over 20 years I am carrying something other than a Kahr. For the last two days I have been carrying a Glock 19. It is definitely not as comfortable as my PM45 but it holds 15 + 1 instead of 5 + 1. I also just picked up a Glock 48. I will also carry that to see how it compares. I really like the way the thinner grips of the 48 feel in my hand. I need to get to the range with the 48 before I carry it though.
