  1. I agree with your wife. You need at least 15 mags.
  2. That was a great video.
  3. Damnit. Why did you have to post that. Now I really want that whole setup.
  4. I don’t use that brand but I use a square string. It really does a lot better job than the cheap round string.
  5. I remember getting in trouble for laughing during chapel in high school because I was reading a far side book. Gary’s stuff is the best.
  6. I have tried that and do not like the texture of the meat. I throw them in my pellet grill till 130° and then put them on the sear box to get a nice crust. Throw them in a pan with a little garlic butter on top and let them rest for 5 minutes. Delicious.
  7. Publix has some good sales going on right now. Their bone in ribeyes are 7.99/lb. I bought a bunch and vacuumed sealed several to save for later.
  8. Welcome aboard. You will find out that there are quite of few of us in the West Nashville/Bellevue area. I also second Royal Range. Great people and a really nice range.
  9. I saw some this weekend and it was expensive. $20 for a 50 round box. (I am assuming it was FMJ)
  10. I am doing a cow elk hunt in December in New Mexico.
  11. Good for the armed citizen.
  12. I have always been a bourbon or Tennessee whiskey guy. My son got me an early Father’s Day gift. A bottle of Irish Whisky. Not bad. Very smooth but there is a flavor I can’t quite put my finger on. It will be put into rotation with my other whiskeys.
  13. Funny thing about that prop. About 15 years ago I saw an ad on Craigslist for a work bench for sale for 100 bucks. I needed a workbench and headed straight over with a trailer. This guy had a huge house in Brentwood and made furniture in his spare time. This workbench turned out to be a 10’ long custom made workbench with adjustable wood shelving the entire length. With the workbench came all the jigs, do dads and wedges he used. The gun prop is one the wedges he used when making furniture. I can not imagine what it cost him to have this made but it know it was a lot more than the 100 I paid for it. He just wanted it gone.
