I will be headed thru Memphis in about 3 weeks.
  3. Courts ruled it was legal for them to do it.
  4. Damn. Had no idea TWRA was doing things like that. It definitely needs to stop.
  5. They are thick rubber strips that came with the kit. The kit consisted of the three resetting targets on top and the one hanging target. It also came with the brackets for the legs. You supply the 4x4 and 2x4s for the legs.
  6. They are ar500 but the ones rated for pistols. Some dumbass decided to shoot it with .300 win mag FMJs.
  7. I have always like and wanted one of those but have not used one.
  8. They only made the Marlin 375 for about 3 years from late ‘79-‘82. I don’t reload for it. You can shoot .38-55 and 375 Winchester through it. I am not planning on shooting it a ton so I will just buy Buffalo Bore ammo for it.
  9. I have not been able to get out and shoot in quite a while. Finally had some free time and decided to take out a couple of new to me guns that I have not shot yet. Loaded up the truck and grabbed my Marlin 336 in .44 mag, Marlin 375 in .375 winchester and my Ruger Redhawk. I was mainly just trying too get the iron sights to hit point of aim at 50 yards. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the 336 in .44 mag is quite accurate. Had a lot fun ringing the steel at varying yardage, mainly from 40-60 yards. I didn't have my shooting glasses so iron sights can be a bit of problem if I am much farther than 50 yards. The Marlin 375 I think is going to be a great deer gun. I was shooting Buffalo Bore .38-55 from a rest and keeping 3" groups with iron sights was a breeze. I will be a good walking in the woods gun where you need quick shots and medium distances. I might put a low power scope on it and see what it can do at longer distances but have not decided yet. Shooting the Redhawk in single action was great for ringing the steel. Lets just say I need a lot of practice shooting it double action. lol
  10. I read that the Oklahoma City bombing used 2 tons of ammonium nitrate and that there was 2750 tons stored in that warehouse.
  11. Jeez, gold is up to 1982. Its hard not to cash in right now. Thats a 50% increase in the last 7-8 months.
  12. There is no federal statute mandating that a private business, a person, or an organization must accept currency or coins as payment for goods or services. Private businesses are free to develop their own policies on whether to accept cash unless there is a state law that says otherwise. Section 31 U.S.C. 5103, entitled "Legal tender," states: "United States coins and currency [including Federal Reserve notes and circulating notes of Federal Reserve Banks and national banks] are legal tender for all debts, public charges, taxes, and dues." This statute means that all U.S. money as identified above is a valid and legal offer of payment for debts when tendered to a creditor.
  13. I guess no more pile high club...
  14. I had several Buck Lights back in the 80’s. One of my favorite knives.
  15. I liked your post and am quoting it so I can say again how much I like it. Cuck Fheaper Than Dirt.
  16. That is going to be a gorgeous rifle. Can't wait to see the finished product.
  17. I thought the whole idea of drinking was to get the skirt off...
  18. Depends on how serious the assault was. In this case I would have walked away and let the police handle it. It the assault was bad enough to do some serious damage then the gender of the assaulter does not matter.
  19. When I worked for TSC the corporate office was not posted. I don't remember if the employee handbook said anything about carry or not. This was before the move to Brentwood.
