  1. I really like the scout scope set up. Took me a little To get used to it but once I did it is fast acquisition. The scope on mine is a fixed 2 power.
  2. I like it. The only thing I would change is to make the scope a low power on a scout scope mount. I have a 16" lever gun in .45-70 and it is my favorite woods gun. The short barrel really makes for an easy carrying, quick shouldering and fast follow up shots if needed.
  3. I thought it was funny. Didn’t mean for you to delete it.
  4. Same here. Fire ants do that to me but usually last a little longer than 2 days.
  5. If it is going to be an all around hunting rig then you are probably best to stay with .308. Probably a lot more options when it comes to building a .308 AR verse any of those other calibers. For the hunter the .308 is probably the easiest of the listed calibers to find and it is extremely versatile depending if you are using light or heavy bullets.
  6. That sounds pretty good. I am going to have to try that n
  7. I got out for a couple of hours but did not see any birds flying.
  8. Don't know if Fuji is joking or not but there are a couple of asian groceries in Nashville that are awesome. Whenever I am preparing a big meal I always go to K&S World Market before any other grocery stores.
  9. Because people are not worried about the parent getting into a drunken confrontation with someone and using their child to kill the other person.
  10. Good luck. Hope everything comes out ok....
  11. Congrats. That is a fine rifle. Would love to hear a range report when you get it out.
  12. Our neighborhood pond has crappie, bluegill and bass. One of my favorite rigs is a tiny curly tail jig with a bobber about 2-3 feet up the line. The bobber really lets you cast the tiny jigs. I have a lot of crappie that way.
  13. That does not apply to the car, only carrying outside of the car. Years ago the extended the castle doctrine protection to your vehicle. That way anybody who could own a firearm could carry it in their car without a permit. Of course they could not take it out of their car and carry around but it is perfectly legal to keep it in your car.
  14. Bill Clays Sporting Goods… I loved that place growing up. Got my first bow there in the early 80s.
  15. Please take Hozzie’s suggestion and make sure you film it.
  16. I have a Winchester 70 in 375 H&H you are welcome to borrow.
  17. I will chip in $10 for NOT to post pics of this!
