  1. Music City SCI proudly presents our 6th annual banquet and fundraising auction. Join us on March 10, 2022 from 5 - 10 pm at the Factory at Franklin and help support SCI’s efforts to protect our right to hunt and promote wildlife conservation worldwide. Don’t miss this one, it’s going to be our best event yet! The auction will feature a selection of North American hunts and some great new gear donations as well as showcasing your favorite outfitters that have been supporting our chapter since the beginning. The Factory has everything we need for vendor displays, the auction, live entertainment and terrific food! We will continue our partnership with Clean Plate Club for the catering. If you attended our last banquet in 2020, you already know that their food is unbelievably good. If you missed out, this is your chance! That's just the beginning. In addition to the auction and feast, we'll have a live band, and an open bar! But act now! 2. Somebody needs to jump on this. I just recently picked up a similar package. This is a good price.
  3. Well thanks to @TGO David I put a Holosun on my PSD. Now I have to find time to get to the range and have some fun.
  4. I always get tired of my toys and start looking for new ones...
  5. You do not run across these very often. Supposedly less than 400 were imported from ‘66-‘74. This was the semi auto version of the G3 battle rifle and the predecessor of the H&K 91. Unfortunately it did not come with a magazine. 91 mags do work in it and I have ordered a couple.
  6. Like Darrell said, this is the law not an Ebay problem. All online retailers will start doing this, even Gunbroker.
  7. I got the SP5 for a couple of reasons. One I think it looks better than the K. Second the K is about 4 inches shorter and does not feel as good in my hands. For me the left hand position is more comfortable on the 5 than the 5K
  8. I are there a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it.
  9. Wish you had posted this about a week ago. I could have saved some money. GLWS
  10. Those look really good. The set on the left I thinks looks good as is. The set on the right is kinda dark. A colored resin would lighten them up and probably look pretty damn cool.
  11. Last I heard he was done in Texas working for a 1911 company that I forget the name of.
  12. So I switched to a Glock 48 a while ago. I like the slim frame and with the Shield Arms mags you can carry 15+1. Another TGO member had a G48 MOS for sale and I ended up doing a trade with him. I just picked up a Holosun 407 and got it mounted. With the 407 mounted it would almost fit but not quite my current IWB kydex holster. Got the dremel out and did a little work to the kydex and now my holster hold both of my G48's. I need to get some range time shooting with the holosun. Once I get accustomed to shooting with the rds it will become my new carry gun.
  13. That is an interesting chart Rizzo. I never considered comparing it to the 5.7 because I am looking at it to hunt with. It shoots as flat as the the 40gr 5.7 round even though it weighs 2.5x more. Bob, I know it is used some as an urban defense weapon but the round is getting the most traction as a hunting round. There are some great hunting video on FK's site. Here is a good video with Rob Pincus
  14. This is true. Once you had bought from them you could get “normal” prices and good deals from Brian. I bought a lot from him in the early days. Not so much once he moved into the old Uncle Buds location.
  15. They had a big private clientele. They sold a lot of guns that never saw the floor. Big dollar guns. I have know Brian since they had the small spot next door to where they are now. He is a nice guy but is definitely not afraid to price his guns at the top of the market.
  16. Anybody heard anything about who is taking over? https://www.franklingunshop.com
  17. The one I use the most is my Marlin 1895 in .45-70 that has been cut down to 16" and mounted with a scout scope. My second most used one is my Kimber Mountain Ascent in .308
