  1. Never really thought about it. I used to have a Browning Pump Rifle for deer hunting but other than that all the pump rifles I have seen have been .22s. I am sure there is a reason why but I do not know it.
  2. I wonder if it is even available in the US. It looks a lot like a Blaser R8 bolt action rifle that is sold in Europe. https://www.blaser.de/us/products/firearms/bolt-action-rifle-r8/r8-models-with-synthetic-stock/r8-professional/
  3. Very nice. Great price also.
  4. Appreciate the offer but not really interested. I am looking for some 500 S&W ammo if you have any.
  5. I was a little surprised that it went for over $8K. I really thought it would go for about $7. The unissued one is already over $7k and LSB usually gets good money for their auctions. It may very well go over $9K. I wonder what kind of fee LSB charges for selling a gun? I bet they are selling it on consignment.
  6. I think most of the original lot when sold people bought as an investment. That is why I bought my two when they were initially offered. I like collecting old Colts but I bought these because I knew they would go way up in value.
  7. From what I am hearing they are not going to reopen. Something about issues with the building not being in great shape and the inventory was sold off. Can't confirm the rumors but that is what I heard.
  8. Wow. That is an early one. They made them from ‘35-‘58 .348 Winchester is a great round. I have a Browning 71 in .348. I have not been able to find me an original yet well at least at a decent price.
  9. That would have probably saved me a bunch. Oh well, its only money.
  10. Reviving an old thread. We have an employee that just hit 25 years with us. We wanted to get him something he would not buy for himself. He and my brother have played in bands together off and on for probably 30+ years just as a hobby. We consulted with Gibson on some technical work years ago. My brother became friends with a lot of the guys at Gibson in the custom shop. He got them to help him pick out this gift. The custom shop puts out very limited runs of some of their classic models. The employees favorite guitar has always been a classic SG. So the guys in the custom shop helped my brother pick out this limited reintroduction of a classic red '64 SG Gibson.
