  1. Contact Rocky thru Franklin Gun Shop. He can do it for you.
  2. I know what you mean. Sometimes I think that I have to many different rifles to shoot but then I come back to my senses and realize you can never have to many guns.:D:D
  3. Here she is.... For comparison sake, here are the different rifle calibers I shoot: From left to right: .243, .270, .30 TC, .308, .30-06, .300 Wthy Mag, .375 Ruger, .45-70. I also shoot a lot of .22lr but I forgot to add that one. Can't wait to get out and shoot it. I am interested in what kind of recoil it will have.
  4. I sure wouldn't want to be on the wrong end of one of those fin stabilized little grenades it shoots.
  5. Yes it does. My daughter has it right now. I hate seeing her feeling so bad.
  6. A lot of you have probably seen this video but it was new to me. Watch all the way to the end. Pretty cool. [ame] [/ame]I need one of these to go squirrel hunting with...
  7. Usually the most intolerant people you will meet are the ones preaching tolerance
  8. Rabbi, you should be ashamed of yourself. You know we need more women in the shooting sports...
  9. They were probably undercover BATFE agents...
  10. That redneck game was fun you inbred bastard:D:D:D
  11. Macs RULE!!!! We also have better TV commercials than you...
  12. The PM9 was may carry gun for quite a while. It is a great pocket gun. I put about 7-800 rounds thru mine without any malfunctions. It was recommended to me to keep the feed ramp polished which I did. Don't know how much this helps feeding but mine worked great. I finally sold it to move up to the P45. You also mentioned a J-frame. That is my other carry gun, a SW 638. It is also a great carry gun. Can't go wrong with either choice IMHO.

    .410 pistol???

I had a Judge for a while. I got it because it was cool and I didn't have one. I thought it would be fun to play with and maybe use it for deer hunting. I was disappointed with the accuracy of the 45lc at 50 yards. I was getting about 6" groups. It just wouldn't shoot consistent. With that being said, the kids and I had a ball shooting 410 shotshells. We would throw cans, clay birds, dirt clods up in the air and blast'em. My son and daughter were 11 and 12 at the time and had no problems handling the recoil. I ended up selling it to fund other purchases. Bill, Jr
  15. i know a guy who shoots a lot of skeet and trap and reloads. He told me that a lot of insurance policys have limits on how much powder and primers you can keep in your house. If you have over x amount, then they would not cover damages if there was a fire. Never did any research to find out if this was true or not so take it for what its worth...
  16. I did a deer/hog hunt in catoosa once. Saw sign but never saw any hogs. If any TGO member has any nuisance hogs on their property, I would more than willing to come over and shoot them for ya...
  17. Yeah Yeah Whatever Urse. We all know if it isn't an AK, you don't like it...:D:D Btw, how is the sbr project going?
  18. I have had 3 different Kahrs. P9, PM9 and P45. I have been very pleased with all 3 in their function and reliability. Thr P45 is my current ccw. Follow the link that bkelm18 posted and you can find some good info. Click on the word specifications under the pic and it gives you side by side comparison of the T9, P9, CW9, and PM9. If you read the thread that Urse posted, the general consensus is that the failure was caused by a blocked barrel. Sounds like the gun did its job by blowing apart in the barrel instead of the frame. The shooter still has all his fingers. The Rabbi has a nice cw9 and cw45 in his shop. He has a nice price on them also.

  20. Obviously I am a fan Kahrs. I also have owned glocks but the KAhrs fit my hand better. I would recommend any of the Kahrs. I really like the P45. Small package with a lot of stopping power.

    browning abolt?

Browning A bolts have a very good rep as a fine hunting rifle. New A Bolt II in 270wsm are going for $700-$850 on gunbroker. If the rifle is in good shape and the bore looks good, sounds like a pretty fair deal. Good luck.
  22. He owns Eastside Gun Shop. http://eastsidegunshop.com/ You should stop in and see him sometime. He is only an a-hole here on the forums, not in person:D:D:D:D
  23. 25 bucks!?! I wouldn't pay more than 15 for a transfer:stir:
  24. JasonF, Rotating that dial back and forth brings back some fond memories:D:D:D and I thought I invented that technique:dirty:
  25. Damn Mike. That was one hell of a good shot. I was bummed I wasn't able to get out yesterday. I would have a strong talk with the neighbor. Nothing worse that having a neighbors dog ruin a hunt. I think you need to have the crow mounted. Would make a great conversation piece...
