  5. Hey David, To be quite honest I dont know. The TLE stands for Tactical Law Enforcement. Externally the only difference is the sights, night sights vs adjustable. I haven't stripped the TLE yet so I don't know if the guts are different. I have been wanting another Kimber and this one was a good deal so I bought it. I really like the adjustable sights on the Target. The night sights might get replaced depending on how it shoots.
  6. a Kimber Custom TLE with night sights. Hope it is as accurate as my Target. Can't wait to get out and run a few hundred rounds through it.

  10. That reminds me of one of my uncles.(the title of the thread, not the robbery) He and his girlfriend were out target shooting with his 44 mag. Not exactly sure how he did this but the gun was waist level and pointing down when it went off. Caught the tip of his "junk" and then went into his upper thigh, came out right before it hit his knee then tore down the side of his leg and barely missed his ankle. He was really lucky there was no major damage done. He did have a lot of stitches though. This is the same uncle who cut off half of his thumb with a circular saw several years later. Super nice guy just not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

  12. Hey rightwinger, Did you consider or look at the Bushmaster 450 or the 50 Beowolf (sp) before you got the 458? Does the 458 have advantages over the others or was it personal preference. Thanks. Bill, Jr

  14. I know what you mean. Sometimes I think that I have to many different rifles to shoot but then I come back to my senses and realize you can never have to many guns.:D:D
  15. Here she is.... For comparison sake, here are the different rifle calibers I shoot: From left to right: .243, .270, .30 TC, .308, .30-06, .300 Wthy Mag, .375 Ruger, .45-70. I also shoot a lot of .22lr but I forgot to add that one. Can't wait to get out and shoot it. I am interested in what kind of recoil it will have.
