  2. I wonder if saintsfanbrian is going to get the psychological help he needs.
  3. Any wimp can carry around a 6 pack. It takes a real man like me to carry a keg!:D
  4. Congrats!
  5. Nancy, What 22 will you be carrying? If the ratshot doesn't deter them it would be nice to be able to put a couple of 22 slugs into them. If it were me, I would have the first two rounds ratshot and the rest regular .22s. Good luck. Hope you don't get bit again.
  6. Tell us who it is and i am sure people will share their experiences with them. Btw, welcome to TGO.
  7. I hope you left him the appropriate feedback.

    The .22

Here are my pistols... i also have a T/C Silver Lynx and a Henry lever action in .22 Btw those are nice grips on your Ruger.
  9. First off I am a big guy with a big gut. I have always used an IWB for carrying either one of my Kahrs or a J-frame. I have always carried just slightly in front of the mid point on my right hip with the gun canted forward. On most of my pants there is a belt loop right at the mid point of my side. The holster would sit right in front on the belt loop. This has always worked for me and been fairly comfortable. Today I put the holster just behind the mid point of my side. I was amazed at how much more comfortable it is to carry in this position. It feels better when I am standing, sitting, walking, driving...etc. Don't know why it took me so long to try this. Just wondering where everybody else carrys on their body.
  10. Thank You! You guys and gals rock!
  11. Stop by in the afternoons and see if anybody is there. Even if MIke isn't there any members who may be using the range could probably get you the info you need. Mike Ridings also hosts Tennessee Sportsman Radio Saturday mornings from 6-8am on 106.7 The Fan. You may be able to contact him thru his show also. http://www.tennesseesportsmanradio.com/
  12. Cadillacdude, If I am reading the law correctly, the ghost buster sign is not legal by itself. The law states that it can be used in addition to the sign "pursuant to ...." The phrase "In addition to the sign," means you can use the ghost buster with the sign, not instead of the sign. At least thats what I always understood. Could be wrong. Does anybody else have an opinion on this?
  13. Here is a pic of my wife and I at my 40th b-day party a couple of months ago.
  14. Try this number 299-0958 I went old school and actually looked it up in the phone book:D First time I have used the phone book in over a year...
  15. I do. They don't know.
  16. They are on Eatons Creek out past Flowers Deer Processing on the \west side of town.
  17. My daughter and son both took their Hunter Safety Education course there. Mike Ridings is the president of the club. Great guy. They have a nice little range that goes to 100 yards I believe. It might go a little farther, not sure. The club has limited amount of memberships and they may be on a waiting list. Very reasonably priced if I remember. 615-228-2077 is the number for info on the club. (at least if used to be)
  18. +1 on what jaypee said. Magazines can be a weak spot on any gun. So I always bit the bullet and bought mine from Kahr. I never bought any aftermarket mags so I can't commit on their reliability. If you do get some to try, let us know how they work out.
  19. I hear ya Analog kidd about reassembling these guys. Pretty easy to get apart but can be a real pain sometimes to get them back together. I usually lock the bolt back, remove the magazine and use a strong aerosal(sp) like Break Free or Gunscrubber and blast as much gunk out as I can. Then a couple drops of oil and I am done. I usually will not disassemble unless I am having malfunctions or accuracy drops off.
  20. Can't beat fun and cheap. Kinda like me on a date:D:D
  21. Here are my Ruger 22's the kids and I shoot. We have a ball shooting cans, clay birds, really anything we can find. Top - MKII Target with Tactical Solutions barrel and GemTec surpressor Middle - MKIII Target Bottom - 22/45 MKII
