    Kahr P9

That is really cool. Nice job.
  3. Sweet 16's have a mystique about them. Some do sell in the $2000 range but they are pretty rare. Most sell in the 500 to 1000 dollar range. There are several factors that come into play on the value. First off of course is condition. Sounds like this one is in fairly good condition. Do you know if it has ever been reblued? This can kill the collectors value. Second is the barrel. THe most sought after choke is the IC. The barrel will be stamped with dashes(-) and asterisks (*) right above the forearm on the left side(opposite of the chamber). The combination of dashes and asterisks will tell you the choke. One asterisk means full choke. I forgot what means IC. You can find it online. Third is the butt plate/pad. The gun in the link you supplied does not have the original butt plate. The original butt plate was made from horn and not rubber. There is a website called the 16ga Society where you can get a lot if info. http://16ga.com/home.html http://16ga.com/forum/index.php They also have a forum section where you can get a lot info. There are a lot of collectors on that site that can help you. They are a bunch of nice guys with a lot of info. They will be able to tell you when yours was manufactured by the serial number. They can also tell you if all your parts are original. Hope this helps.
  4. Varmint mean different things to different people. I have also used it to mean: coyotes, groundhogs, prairedogs things that don't have a specific hunting season, like squirrels or rabbits, and are somewhat destructive. Coyotes eat a lot of game animals, pets etc and groundhogs and prairedogs do a lot of tunneling and can tear up your land. BAck to the original question: I think I would go with the 204 ruger. Hot little cartridge. 4000fps, flat, no recoil - I just think that this would be a great round in an AR.
  5. I think you are mistaken. I have handled that P-64 and the trigger pull was more like 15 million pound pull :D Cool little gun. Congrats!
  6. I don't date anymore. Shoot, I have been married so long I don't even look both ways when I cross the road.

    If's

If frogs had bb guns, snakes wouldn't have eyes. Your deep thought for the day...
  8. Funny thing, thats Danny. He was an usher at my wedding almost 20 years ago. He was dating the maid of honor at the time. Hadn't seen him since the wedding. Small world.
  9. Awesome pics and video. Thanks!!
  10. I learned two things: First, really slap that reload in. On my first reload I shoved the mag in and started to fire. The first round went bang, it was already in the pipe when i reloaded but after that the gun wouldnt fire. The mag wasn't fully seated. After I banged it on the bottom and racked the slide all was well. Second, The gun works a lot better if you take the safety off. I open a door and try to engage the bg and the gun wouldn't work. Took me a second to figure out to take it off safety. I was shooting my Kimber 1911 and didn't have any malfunctions except what I caused. Was really a good learning experience.
  11. Is it politically incorrect to tell "The Rabbi" to F*** off...
  12. Thanks to Rabbi for setting up the shoot. It was a lot of fun. I am the one in the middle with the red and blue shirt
  13. Sent you a pm
  14. Who can tell me the difference between internal and external extractors. I have heard people say one is better than the other but don't know why. Also does anybody have pics of two guns, one with an external extractor and one with an internal extractor. Thanks
  15. I have a four color beard: blonde, brown, red and gray.
  16. Hey Marswolf, Did you have paint on your face or can you not grow a one color beard?

    Subcompact 9MM

I will have to vote for the Kahr pm9. It is a great gun and the slim handle fits my hands better than a glock.
  18. I usually try to stay very civil on forums but you are a f***ing idiot if you really believe that. Mods, if you feel I am out of line, please feel free to delete my post.
  19. Here is what Blue Book of Gun Values says: 100%/$400 98/$300 95/$245 90/$220 80/$195 70/$175 60/$165 For some reason, S&W revolvers almost always sells higher than the blue book price. Hope this helps.
  20. Don't tap my foot but I do have a wide stance...
  21. I will stop by tomorrow. Thanks.
  22. Todd, Thats why I switched from my P45 to a J-frame. The shape of the j-frame is more comfortable when carrying. IMO I think the grip on the j-frame is also easier to grab and draw.

Thats gonna be one big KA-BOOM!
  25. All guns are fun to shoot. The "ouch" just determines how often I shoot them.
