  1. That guy is a douche bag. No arguments...
  2. Count me in for 1k 45acp if this order gets put together.
  3. Not sure, never tried but I don't think so.
  4. Creeky, The scope uses quick detach rings so I can pull it off and use the peep sight. The peep sight with fiber optic front sight is almost as fast as the scout scope at getting on target. I shoot 325gr LeveRevolution and I don't think the recoil is very bad at all. It seems less to me than a 30-06.
  5. I have two lever guns that I absolutely love. My first is a Marlin 1895 in 45-70. The barrel has been cut down to 16" and mounted a scout scope on it. It is a great deer gun in the thick stuff. My second is a .22 cal Henry levergun. This thing is a blast to shoot. Don't have any pics of it yet.
  6. Halfpint, thats quite a collection you have there. Well as long as there are not any razorbacks I guess its ok.
  7. But I thought you like Rabbi
  8. I went to Texas Christian and was wondering if there were any other Horned Frogs hanging out here?
  9. That was really cool. Now I want some ribs and to go deer hunting. I believe he used "Sweet Rays" Bar B Que sauce.
  10. I have a big black dog that is part pit bull and part retriever which means he will run through water to bite you...:D
  11. Cool, sounds great. I love to scuba dive. Haven't gotten to dive anywhere quite as cool as Okinawa though. The Cayman Islands have some great diving. The north wall dive on Grand Caymen is pretty amazing. You drop in and go the bottom at about 95 feet. You then float over the edge of the wall and you are floating over 10,000 feet of darkness. The night dives in the Cayman are cool because there is a lot of phosphorous in the water so green sparks come off your flippers when you swim.
  12. You should. I bet you have some great pics.
  13. Was checking out you blog and you have some cool pics on there. Whats the tallest tower you have built or worked on? Ever use one as a deer stand?
  14. The one that bothers me is (4) Has been arrested for a felony involving the use or attempted use of force, violence or a deadly weapon or a felony drug offense; Just cause you have been arrested it doesn't mean you are guilty. A lot of innocent people have been arrested.
  15. Fallguy, Thanks for all the work you put in that helps everybody have a better understanding of the laws. It is really appreciated.

That is really cool. Nice job.
  17. Sweet 16's have a mystique about them. Some do sell in the $2000 range but they are pretty rare. Most sell in the 500 to 1000 dollar range. There are several factors that come into play on the value. First off of course is condition. Sounds like this one is in fairly good condition. Do you know if it has ever been reblued? This can kill the collectors value. Second is the barrel. THe most sought after choke is the IC. The barrel will be stamped with dashes(-) and asterisks (*) right above the forearm on the left side(opposite of the chamber). The combination of dashes and asterisks will tell you the choke. One asterisk means full choke. I forgot what means IC. You can find it online. Third is the butt plate/pad. The gun in the link you supplied does not have the original butt plate. The original butt plate was made from horn and not rubber. There is a website called the 16ga Society where you can get a lot if info. http://16ga.com/home.html http://16ga.com/forum/index.php They also have a forum section where you can get a lot info. There are a lot of collectors on that site that can help you. They are a bunch of nice guys with a lot of info. They will be able to tell you when yours was manufactured by the serial number. They can also tell you if all your parts are original. Hope this helps.
  18. Varmint mean different things to different people. I have also used it to mean: coyotes, groundhogs, prairedogs things that don't have a specific hunting season, like squirrels or rabbits, and are somewhat destructive. Coyotes eat a lot of game animals, pets etc and groundhogs and prairedogs do a lot of tunneling and can tear up your land. BAck to the original question: I think I would go with the 204 ruger. Hot little cartridge. 4000fps, flat, no recoil - I just think that this would be a great round in an AR.
  19. I think you are mistaken. I have handled that P-64 and the trigger pull was more like 15 million pound pull :D Cool little gun. Congrats!
  20. I don't date anymore. Shoot, I have been married so long I don't even look both ways when I cross the road.

    If's

If frogs had bb guns, snakes wouldn't have eyes. Your deep thought for the day...
  22. Funny thing, thats Danny. He was an usher at my wedding almost 20 years ago. He was dating the maid of honor at the time. Hadn't seen him since the wedding. Small world.
  23. I learned two things: First, really slap that reload in. On my first reload I shoved the mag in and started to fire. The first round went bang, it was already in the pipe when i reloaded but after that the gun wouldnt fire. The mag wasn't fully seated. After I banged it on the bottom and racked the slide all was well. Second, The gun works a lot better if you take the safety off. I open a door and try to engage the bg and the gun wouldn't work. Took me a second to figure out to take it off safety. I was shooting my Kimber 1911 and didn't have any malfunctions except what I caused. Was really a good learning experience.
  24. Is it politically incorrect to tell "The Rabbi" to F*** off...
