running total: wood-2 rubber-1 keep the opinions coming...

I have been carrying my 638 with the original rubber grips. I picked up a set of wood grips from Rabbi. It sure looks "thinner" with the wood grips. So which way do yall like it...rubber or wood?

Back in college I was at the Library and had to take care of business so to speak. So I go into the bathroom and sit down. I am sitting there and start wondering what the little box on the wall is for. I opened the box and realized what I had done. About that time two women came in and took the other stalls. After they left I about sprinted out of there. Luckily, no one saw me leave the womens restroom. That would been a tough call to my wife. Honey, can you come bail me out. I got arrested for hanging out in the womens bathroom....

Haven't been to the other two but you can't go wrong with Fall Creek Falls. Great camping, hiking and photography opportunities. There is also some great fishing there.

Have you already been fingerprinted? If not, you can get your fingerprint cards and drop off the form at his office in the same trip to the CJC. When I did mine it probably took 20-30 mins total from walking in to getting fingerprinted and dropping off the forms.

Have had similar experience with Ruger customer service. I over tightened a screw and cracked my grips on my Super Blackhawk Hunter. I called and asked to buy new grips after I told them what I did. They sent me a new pair of grips free. A+

I talked to Frank about the raffle after all this went down and he is not conducting it anymore. The raffle is being conducted in North Carolina or Virginia, I forget which state the rifle is in. Seems in Tennessee only non-profits can conduct raffles or some technicality like that. I enjoyed speaking with Frank. Seems like a first rate guy.

Or you can just buy a Mac so you don't have these kinds of problems!:D

ZenDog, I keep my Ipod handy for just that sort of thing. TnDixieGirl, I have just about banned my son from wearing Axe. Doesn't matter how little he uses, the house stinks for hours after he puts it on.

Thanks for all the kind words. Had the division finals for the running events last night. She runs the 4x400 relay. She qualified for city tournament in that also. I love doing sports with the kids but the meet didn't finish last night till 10pm. I am actually looking forward to track season being over.

My daughter is in 8th grade. We had Track and Field Division finals yesterday for the field events. She throws shot put and discus. She qualified for the city meet in both. She came in 2nd in discus with a throw of 73'7". She came in 4th in shot put with a throw of 27'2". Only the top four from each event get to go to the city meet. I am really proud of her qualifying for shot put because most of the girls she was competing against were almost twice her size. Now, if they only had target competitions she would win that also...

Angel, Your pic may be too big. I have had problems with big pics uploading to photobucket. The screens says loading but never does. After I resized the photo in photoshop, it would upload just fine. Hope this helps.
