Very cool video. Did you notice how didn't wear the helmet when firing the HK.
  2. Thats pretty interesting. I have caught myself doing some of those movements. Never really thought that they would be a tell.
  3. S&W J-frames are small and very easy to conceal. This is my 638.
  4. I agree. I should explain that I usually tip 20-30% but rarely do I ever leave less than 10%, even if the service was bad. If I ever leave like .50 to make a point about the bad service I do let the manager know. Its kinda funny I became a much better tipper after I worked delivering pizza where you rely on tips to make decent money.
  5. The Evan Williams Single Barrel I bought yesterday is 10yr old. The have the date of when it went into the barrel and the date when it was bottled written on the bottle with a sharpie. Didn't get around to sampling last night. Will have to this weekend.
  6. I think you still need to tip. All the workers probably split the tips evenly from a big pool at the end of the night. As to how much to tip. I let that be decided by the service I received.
  7. Will do. I plan on doing a little sampling tonight...
  8. Picked some Evan Williams Single Barrel and Woodford Reserve on the way home. They had a bottle of Pappa Van Winkle Rye...$259.99 for a litre bottle.
  9. I am finishing off a bottle of Buffalo Trace as we speak. This was my first bottle and only bought it because I liked the label. It is very nice though. I make it easy on the marketers. Thats why I thought I would ask for suggestions instead of going by the looks of the bottle.
  10. Hey Mike. In the last year or two I have really come to appreciate sipping bourbon. Jim Beam Black is my old stand by. Had some Woodford Revserve at Rabbi's and it was very nice. Any suggestions or favorites I should try?
  11. Alright Danny, What's Rabbi laughing at?
  12. First three questions...not sure. i bought it this way so no frame of reference for comparison. I can tell you this, it is exceptionally well balanced. I was shooting it yesterday and would put the recoil on par with a bolt action 30-06. The front sight does not obstruct the view through the scope although you can see it. The scope has a standard duplex reticle and the front sight comes up about half way between the bottom of the scope and the horizontal crosshair. After a couple of shots you get used to it and hardly notice it is there. The scope has quick detach rings so I dont want to mess with the front sight.
  13. I will second Hornady Leverevolution. I shoot the 325 gr load in my Marlin 1895. Very accurate load. 2050fps and if you sight it in at 3" high at 100 yards it will be 4" low at 200.
  14. Cool. I think you will really like. They are a blast to shoot. Here is my thumper... 1895 in 45/70 with the barrel shortened to 16" and a scout scope.
  15. :bowrofl::rock:
  16. I am keeping my mouth shut this time...
  17. Main reason is it makes the 30-06 much more versatile. For the guy with only one rifle you can hunt anything from groundhogs to moose with only changing ammo.
  18. Fallguy, you make some good points. The difference, as I see it, in your case is you were both consenting parties. That was not the case in the compound. Since when does pregnancy and marriage equal sexual abuse? When it involves 40 year old men with girls who are 13, 14 and 15, especially since the girls had no say in what was happening to them. Why was it necessary to take the kids from their mother's? They allowed it to happen. I am not saying the women were not victims in this but that is not an excuse. For example.. I am not divorced but for the sake of argument lets say I am. My wifes new boyfriend or husband starts abusing my daughter and she allows it to happen. I would want her to spend as much time in jail as the guy who did the abusing. I understand what you are saying in your last paragraph. Inner city teen pregnacy and marriage is a serious problem facing our society today. But you are still talking about willing participants. The girls in the compound didn't have a choice. This is a very emotional issue. In a different situation I might argue differently. But in this situation, I think the right decisions were made.
  19. Thats easy...I don't tell her Buying guns is mans work...she needs to worry about keeping the house clean.... man I really hope she doesn't see this thread:shhh:
  20. I was going to say the same about you but you beat me to it.
  21. i hope you don't start charging me rent based on floorspace cause I take up a lot of floor space...
