  1. Thats exactly what it is. Well a high class, legal bong.
  2. A hookah bar is basically a place to go smoke tobacco. A hookah is a tobacco pipe of Near Eastern origin with a long, flexible tube by which the smoke is drawn through a jar of water and thus cooled.

    Kahr guns?

Well I am a little late to the party but will throw my .02 cents. I love kahrs. I have owned three different models. They all have been very reliable and accurate. They seem to just fit my hand right. Good reliable guns.
  4. We all are gun guys and gals so when we see or feel a bulge on a hip we automatically think gun. If he isn't a gun guy then he probably will not automatically think gun. I wouldn't worry about it.
  5. Would that be Dinty Moore Beef Stew?:D:D
  6. Put this in your gutter, turn the auger on and send along the gutter. The spinning flaps throws all the leaves and crap out of the gutter. After it reaches the end of the gutter or a turn, just switch it to reverse and it drives right back to you. The kids got this for me for fathers days. Cant wait to try it out.
  7. Hopefully you will have enough time to rack one into the chamber...it's better to just keep one in the chamber. imho.
  8. Thanks for all the replys. TDR - Thanks for the leg work. I would like to keep his first bike under $1000 if I could. He is average height wise but a bean pole. He only weighs about 85 lbs. The one comment on most of those were "to fast for me". Thats why I was thinking a smaller sized bike. Although I dont want him to outgrow one to fast either. Mugster - thanks for the link to mtdr. I will check them out.
  9. My 13yo son has decided he can't live with out a dirt bike. Anybody here have any experience with bikes in the 70-100cc range. Any tips on suggestions on brands to consider, brands to stay away from, etc.. would be appreciated. Not looking to get into motocross or anything like that. Just something to ride around the neighborhood or down on the farm. Also, are there any good training/safety classes around Nashville? Thanks
  10. What kind of pump shotgun is that? The wood looks really nice.
  11. Although I am a fairly accomplished hunter, I have never hunted bear. We were interested in hunting black bear in East Tennessee. We were trying to keep the cost down but may look into getting a guide. Thanks.

    .357 lever

I saw in a Hornady Leverevolution ad that the energy for the 140gr round out of an 18" barrel is low to mid 800's ft/lb of energy at 50 yards. That is plenty of power for the deer in TN. At 100 yards it dropped to the loww 500's which is iffy. Keep your shots at reasonable distances and I think you have a great deer gun.
  13. Eddie, I am very sorry for your loss. My family will keep your and her family's in our prayers.

    .357 lever

.357's have taken a lot of deer over the years. With that being said, I feel that is a slightly underpowered round for deer. If you keep you distances to bow range and only take good broadside shots you will be ok. The problem is if the deer is farther away or at different angles the round lacks the energy to cleanly take a deer. IMHO.
  15. Got anymore of those $2000 guns for $710 :D
  16. Are you serious?!? Talk about picking the lesser of two evils...Bloomberg or Obama
  17. Interesting read. Thanks for posting it.
  18. .243 is a good starting round. It has plenty of power for the deer in TN. I started my son and daughter off on a TC Encore in .243. They are now 13 and 14 and still shoot with it.

    Value of gun

Add $20 to the prices above for the nickel finish. That combined with the fact that blue book is usually on the low side of value, I think you got a good deal. Now, how many shots before you hit the golf ball?
  21. This is what blue book says: MODEL 15 (K-38 COMBAT MASTERPIECE) - .38 Spl. cal., adj. sights, 6 shot, square butt, 2 (disc.), 4, 6 (mfg. 1986-91), or 8 3/8 (new 1986, disc.) in. barrel. Add $20 for nickel finish (disc. 1987). Add 300% for USAF marked (mfg. 1965). There were 9 engineering changes on this model.
