  1. Used to be...now he is Vic Mackey. Vic is a little darker than the commish.
  2. Peta Wilson rocks. I loved her in La Femme Nikita!
  3. No. I figured the guys changing my oil really didn't have anything to do with it. I am going to send corporate an email.
  4. I stopped by Valvoline Instant Oil Change at lunch today to get my oil changed. They offer free wifi. So I hoped on the laptop and headed to TGO to see what was going on. Instead of TGO's home page I was directed to Valvoline's internet filter. TGO is a prohibited site because it falls under the category of weapons. What a bunch of B.S. Their lobby is not posted but they are obviously not gun friendly. Just thought I would get the word out.
  5. TCU...Go Frogs!!!
  6. sent you a pm
  7. Saving Grace has become one of my favorites. I also like The Shield. I will be glad when the new season starts.
  8. I was up in a ladder stand deer hunting. About 100 yards away I heard a flock of turkeys go nuts. I figured either a bobcat or coyote had jumped them. Well about 3 minutes later here comes mister bobcat down the trail. A 165gr 30-06 round put him down hard and fast. I admit that a 30-06 is a little overkill for a 30lb bobcat but that is all I had with me.
  9. I picked up a Springfield 1911 in 9mm a couple of months ago. Finally got out to shoot it last week. Fun target gun. Accurate and very little recoil.

    Ruger Mkii Vs Mkiii

I have both. The suppressed one in the pic is a MKII and the middle one is a MKIII. The MKII has been a very reliable and accurate gun for many years and thousands of rounds. The MKIII has also been very reliable but I only have about 500 rounds through it. The trigger is better in the MKII in my opinion. Both are great guns. If I was going to buy another, it would probably by a MKII. Shot a Buckmark for the first time a couple of weeks ago. It was a good feeling little gun.
  11. Haven't used it yet. Been to lazy to get the ladder out and climb up to the gutters. Fall is coming so I am sure it will get used soon.
  12. Look into the Swift brand. They make a much better scope than Tasco or Simmons for not much more. Their base scope in 3x9x40 is about 120 and the same scope in their premier line is 175. One nice feature of Swift scopes is the no question asked return policy. if your scope fails for any reason just take it to a local vendor and they will give yo a new scope and send the defective one back. Also in the 175 range is the Bushnell 3200 Elite. That is a very good scope. For under a hundred you can get a Bushnell Banner. The website swfa.com has about the best prices on scopes. They also have a really good selection so you can compare a lot of different scopes.
  13. Yes. Bobcats are legal to hunt and shoot in Tennessee. I have this guy hanging on my garage wall.
  14. I have to take the recoil pad off so it fits in my safe.
  15. It depends on where in davidson county you are. What you are talking about is hunting coyotes. It is not illegal to hunt in davidson county. There are some really big deer that are taken every year in davidson county. You will need the proper hunting license and to follow TWRA rules. The most important is yo must be at least 100 yards away from a dwelling unless you have permission. You can find info here: http://www.state.tn.us/twra/ I don't believe there is a season for coyotes, meaning you can hunt all year. Do a little research on hunting regs for davidson county on twra's website and you should find your answer.
  16. I got an AR-50 about a month ago but yesterday was the first time I have had a chance to shoot it. TGO member Jeremiah and myself were doing a little shooting out on some property I hunt on south of Fairview.
  17. Sorry for the crappy quality but all I had at the time was my phone. I can describe the shot in one word...AWESOME! That beast is a blast(literally) to shoot. Watch the stuff on the table get blown off by the gases. Recoil was less than my Tikka T3 .270. Now I have to get a scope mounted and really start having some fun. (clicking on the pic will take you photobucket to see the poor quality video)
  18. That is a must see!!
  19. Those are great. To bad the people who need to see them probably will not.
  20. That's cool. Nice shooting. I love making small groups.
  21. BS. I think you need to send me your 1911's so I can verify that claim!
  22. So Jason, Do you like wearing women's clothes? That is what the ad is for when I looked at it.
  23. Doesn't matter what you get as long as it is a Ruger.
  24. Congrats on your PM9. It is a great little gun.
