  1. HEATHEN!!! May your soul burn in hell for the Blasphemy you speak!! My brother is out at the Apple WWDC right now. He said the Keynote speech was pretty cool. The new iPhone has MMS so yo do not have to buy an app to send a picture. Of course AT&T will not suport mms until the end of the summer. Overall the new phone looks to have some nice new features. We play hand me down around the office. My dad and brother will probably get the new 3Gs and I will get their 3G. I am still using one of the first gen iPhones.
  2. I would recommend either this: SW 638 or Any Kahr, well the P series or CW series. The all steel are kinda heavy.
  3. Be careful where you put your pistol grip...you might catch something Don't you know...No glove, No love, baby!!!
  4. That seems really reasonable for work done by the Performance Center. Looking forward to hearing you range report after you receive it back.
  5. Thats really cool. Seems like you are having a lot of fun with your new hobby. That green looks great in the pic.
  6. I think my daughter and I are going to to try and stop by to watch some of the matches. Hope to see you there.
  7. Here is what I found in Blue Book: Model 1890 Second Model Takedown Frame - color case hardened receiver, takedown feature was added in 1892 after over 15,000 solid frames had been made, approx. ser. no. range 15,500-326,000. Mfg. 1892-1907. Grading 100% 98% 95% 90% 80% 70% 60% 50% 40% 30% 20% 10% N/A $8,000 $5,500 $4,250 $3,250 $2,750 $2,200 $1,800 $1,200 $875 $550 $385 Model 1890 Takedown w/ Blue Finish - most commonly encountered Model 1890, post-1901 manufacture. Grading 100% 98% 95% 90% 80% 70% 60% 50% 40% 30% 20% 10% N/A $3,000 $2,000 $1,250 $825 $650 $550 $450 $385 $335 $300 $250 Add 50% for .22 LR cal. (mfg circa 1919-1932, starting at ser. no. approx. 610,000). .22 LR cal. accounted for approx. 10% of the total production on this model. Deluxe model will bring premiums over values listed. There were also a limited amount of guns mfg. with stainless steel barrels which will add to values of post-1901 mfg. The Model 1890 was Winchester's first slide action repeating rifle. It replaced the Model 1873 .22 cal. It was an excellent and inexpensive .22 rifle that rapidly became the universal firearm used in shooting galleries. Even though production reached approx. 849,000 units, most guns were heavily used and specimens existing today in 98%+ condition are rare. Check carefully for rebarreling (notice proofmarks on barrel). Hope this helps.
  8. Was wondering how long before your permit expires can you start the renewal process? Is it regulated by law or do you start when you get your paperwork in the mail? Thanks
  9. I hope you can get it back into shooting shape. I hate to see a firearm go to the graveyard. Btw, It was very nice meeting you yesterday.
  10. If I am not mistaken, Jim Shockey's Gold is the same formula as 777 just sold under his name. I shoot 777 and my cousin shoots Jim Shokey's. Both are great powders and shoot pretty clean. The only problem I have had with 777 is leaving my encore loaded between ml seasons, about a month. After shooting it, there was definitely some residue left on the barrel where the 777 pellets sat. It took quite a bit of elbow grease to remove it. When normally shooting 777, it is a breeze to clean up. Congrats on the Pro Hunter.
  11. Welcome Aaron. I am just up the road from you in Bellevue. My wife and I used to live in Fort Worth. I do a lot of hunting in the fairview area. Welcome to TGO.
  12. Sold for the incredibly high price of $0.00.
  13. A friend gave me this instead of throwing it in the trash. It is an Italian made black powder pistol in .36 cal. It is missing parts and the frame is pitted. I thought I might try to get it back into shooting shape but have to many other projects going. Since it was given to me, I am going to offer it free to the first person who tells me they want it. No shipping and have to meet me somewhere in Nashville. Anybody want it?

  15. That's what she said... Seriously, nice lever action. Congrats.
  16. Got one for myself and my daughter. It would be awesome is she got drawn.
  17. Dude, you really suck!!! That is a gorgeous gun... Make sure you give us a range report after you shoot it. CONGRATS!!
  18. Red Labels are well made, quality o/u's. The only con I hear about them is their weight. As long as it swings good, it would be a great gun to start shooting skeet with. I would not use it for trap with fixed skeet chokes. I f you want one gun for both skeet and trap then sell the Red Label and get an o/u with removable chokes.

    Ruger .22 Mark II

Gator, You made the classic rookie mistake...you disassembled it They are definitely a pain in the ass to reassemble. I hardly ever break my down anymore. I shoot a little gun scrubber down in the action to get any crud out and then spray it with a little clp and put her up. Unless you are having problems, there really is no need to break it down to clean it. They are great guns. Have fun with yours.
  20. Great video. Pretty impressive shooting at 25 yards. When it comes in, we need to go shooting. We can compare the R9 and PM9 side by side.
  21. oooooooohhhh!!! That's purdy!!! Very nice looking pistol.
