Sounds like us. We dated for almost 3 years before we got married. I was 17 and she was 16 when we started dating.

Cool. I just downloaded it. Thanks

Great movie. Bonus points for anybody that can name the movie.

Yesterday was our 21'st anniversary. I have been married so long I don't look both ways when I cross the street... Longer marriages don't seem to be the norm these days. Making a long marriage work is hard work. We have had our ups and downs but glad we stuck with it. We were high school sweethearts and are still today. So how about the rest of you? Are you married and if so, how long? PS - Don't get me wrong, I am not saying that people who have been divorced didn't work hard enough. Sometimes people just shouldn't stay together. Okay, enough of the sensitive stuff. I need to go shoot something....

FYI - Beretta is running a promotion right now. If you buy a Urika 2 btw now and Sept 30 you get 200 worth of Beretta swag free. There are lots of models available for the free stuff.

I do tech support and testing for the software we develop for Iphones, Blackberrys and Android phones. But my real job is being a chauffeur for my damn kids...

Nice pics! If you ever need somebody to go hog hunting with, give me a call...

The cat will end costing a lot more than your Kimber in the long run. Don't forget that when it time to buy a new gun, just in case the wife gives you any flack...

I will preface this by saying I have not owned any of the 40's but I have owned several of the 9 and 45 Kahrs. P series, PM series and K series. They have all been worth the money to me. Feel free to pm me if you have any specific questions.

That's awesome. Can't wait to tell it at lunch today...

Here is mine: Model 1895 in 45-70 with the barrel cut down to 16". Leopold 2x scope mount up front. It's quite the little thumper.

If the rifle was made in 1956 then it should be a Model 64. Is that what you have? If it is then depending on if it is a standard or deluxe model, you either paid the blue book value or got a real good deal. Now remember, Blue Book is guide. You gun is worth what somebody will pay for it. From Blue Book The Model 1894 rifle configuration (forearm stock with forearm cap) was discontinued circa 1929 at approx. ser. no. 1,070,000. The Model 1894 rifle was replaced by the Model 55 (mfg. 1924-1932), and the Model 64 (mfg. 1933-1957 and 1972-1973). MODEL 64 RIFLE - .219 Zipper, .25-35 WCF, .30-30 Win., or .32 Win. Spl. cal., 20 or 24 in. round barrel, with standard 26 in. on the .219 Zipper, blue metal, pistol grip stock, revamped Model 55 action with increased mag. capacity, 66,783 mfg. between 1933-1957 and 1972-73 (over 8,250 mfg. in .30-30 Win. cal. only - these last two years with minor changes). Grading 100% 98% 95% 90% 80% 70% 60% 50% 40% 30% 20% 10% N/A $1,000 $875 $750 $675 $600 $550 $500 $450 $400 $350 $300 Add 100% for 20 in. barrel (sometime referred to as Carbine). Add 200% for .25-35 WCF cal. (rare). Add 300% for .219 Zipper cal. (very rare). Many of this variation now have extra holes drilled on the top of the receiver to accept scope mounts - subtract 50% for this alteration. The Model 64 is usually found in excellent condition. Model 64 1972-73 mfg. may be found in the post-´64 section. Model 64 Deluxe Rifle - distinquishable by fancy pistol grip checkered wood. Grading 100% 98% 95% 90% 80% 70% 60% 50% 40% 30% 20% 10% N/A N/A $2,250 $2,000 $1,800 $1,600 $1,450 $1,275 $1,125 $950 $825 $725 Hope this helps. Please put some pics up of your classic. Everybody loves old Winchesters, or at least they should!

YES! Another convert! It is funny how many people don't see the point of an iPhone until they use one for a couple of days. I was one of those people. My dad and brother kept raving about them. I finally spent some time with one and got hooked.

Went for a little helicopter ride this weekend

Just saying....:rofl: J/K Dude, you It must be awesome to be you. I know it is fun sitting at work here and trying to live vicariously through your posts. Keep on postin' (although I am normally a sarcastic a-hole, none of the above was meant to be sarcastic)( and yes, I have a man-crush on joe, but don't tell anyone) -
Wow. Great pics. Thanks for sharing.

HEATHEN!!! May your soul burn in hell for the Blasphemy you speak!! My brother is out at the Apple WWDC right now. He said the Keynote speech was pretty cool. The new iPhone has MMS so yo do not have to buy an app to send a picture. Of course AT&T will not suport mms until the end of the summer. Overall the new phone looks to have some nice new features. We play hand me down around the office. My dad and brother will probably get the new 3Gs and I will get their 3G. I am still using one of the first gen iPhones.

I would recommend either this: SW 638 or Any Kahr, well the P series or CW series. The all steel are kinda heavy.

Be careful where you put your pistol grip...you might catch something Don't you know...No glove, No love, baby!!!

Thats really cool. Seems like you are having a lot of fun with your new hobby. That green looks great in the pic.

Here is what I found in Blue Book: Model 1890 Second Model Takedown Frame - color case hardened receiver, takedown feature was added in 1892 after over 15,000 solid frames had been made, approx. ser. no. range 15,500-326,000. Mfg. 1892-1907. Grading 100% 98% 95% 90% 80% 70% 60% 50% 40% 30% 20% 10% N/A $8,000 $5,500 $4,250 $3,250 $2,750 $2,200 $1,800 $1,200 $875 $550 $385 Model 1890 Takedown w/ Blue Finish - most commonly encountered Model 1890, post-1901 manufacture. Grading 100% 98% 95% 90% 80% 70% 60% 50% 40% 30% 20% 10% N/A $3,000 $2,000 $1,250 $825 $650 $550 $450 $385 $335 $300 $250 Add 50% for .22 LR cal. (mfg circa 1919-1932, starting at ser. no. approx. 610,000). .22 LR cal. accounted for approx. 10% of the total production on this model. Deluxe model will bring premiums over values listed. There were also a limited amount of guns mfg. with stainless steel barrels which will add to values of post-1901 mfg. The Model 1890 was Winchester's first slide action repeating rifle. It replaced the Model 1873 .22 cal. It was an excellent and inexpensive .22 rifle that rapidly became the universal firearm used in shooting galleries. Even though production reached approx. 849,000 units, most guns were heavily used and specimens existing today in 98%+ condition are rare. Check carefully for rebarreling (notice proofmarks on barrel). Hope this helps.
