    Brian and his dad were great when they first opened. Attitudes definitely changed as they got bigger.

    I knew Brian. I did a lot of business with him and his dad when they first opened in the small space in the strip next to Uncle Buds building. I always liked Brian and his dad. I was surprised when reading the story. They used to run a real tight ship when they were smaller. I did less and less business with them as they got bigger. The prices just kept going up and up. I need to check out the new shop.

    Looks just like the one I got back in the early 70’s as my first rifle. The Marlin model 60 now is in the hands of my cousins sons. I need to get that back from them.

    Our own @willis68 used to sharpen knives as part of his knife business. Not sure if he still does but if he does he can get it razor sharp for you.

    I hunted yesterday afternoon till dark. It felt a lot colder than the mid 30s that it was. Watched a doe feed for 45 minutes but no bucks showed up.
