  1. The last minute or two of the show was great. The way he delivered that line and the look on her face was great.
  2. Very cool. I live about 2 minutes from there. I will try to stop by.
  3. Saigas are plenty accurate for deer hunting. One thing to remember is that you can not hunt with fmj's. Don't mix up up your target rounds with your hunting rounds.
  4. Yes! I am not the only one who mixes Diet Dr. Pepper and Diet Coke with Jim Beam. I enjoy sipping bourbon but every now and then you can't beat a nice Beam and Diet Dr Pepper.

    KAHR P45

I carried a P45 for a year or so. Very light weight and easy to carry. It was very controllable and accurate. The PM series are not the best for extended range sessions bit I never had that problem with the P45.
  6. Very nice. Looking forward to a range report.
  7. As a HCP holder I do not like it when anywhere posts. It does not matter if it is a "safe" place or not. It is another place telling me I can not carry. Now here is my real problem with them posting. Look at it from the antis side. I can here them making this argument... Well hell, if the police don't trust hcp holders then why should we. If they have to post their office, why shouldn't all business be posted?
  8. You rock Fallguy. Thanks for the clarification. I am really glad I was wrong. Sounds like they actually got the law the way it should be. To everybody else, sorry for the confusion.
  9. First off let me say that we may need some further clarification. I believe that the TWRA regulations have final say on what is and is not legal during hunting seasons. The TWRA opposed the carry in parks law just for this reason. They have no way of knowing if the person with a firearm is hiking or hunting illegally. I think they made a compromise in the bill that gave the TWRA authority over what is carried where during hunting seasons. I will try to research this a little further.
  10. Ohio is correct. Your pistol mush have at least a 4" barrel for you to carry it with you deer hunting. Also, you can only carry it during gun season, not during archery or muzzleloader seasons. Having a hcp makes no different on this. You are only allowed to carry weapons specified by the TWRA when hunting. Doesn't matter if you are carrying your pistol for self defense only. It still must meet the minimum requirements set forth by the TWRA to have it on your person when hunting. You also do not need a hcp to carry a pistol when hunting. Just make sure it is unloaded when you are transporting it to and from your hunting location.
  11. I shoot Triple 7 pellets. If you shoot either 100grs or 150 grs it is a lot easier than measuring out powder.
  12. A little bit of advice..... stool softner...or your head and shoulder will not be the only thing hurting...
  13. If you read that page you will see he custom made that for a guy in a wheelchair. This was about function, so the guy could rack the slide with his disabled hand. It shows great ingenuity and workmanship on the smiths part.
  14. You don't have to take his word for being "breathtakingly handsome". I have a pic of dunndw in a tux with peach tie and cumberbun I could post...lol (I really do)
  15. Brian Hassler at Franklin Gun Shop. He is very knowledgeable about old firearms.
  16. There is a thread in the vendor section i think that details Joe's dealings with Spikes. They royally screwed him. Read the thread and you may change your mind on how you feel about Spikes as a company.
  17. Have killed deer in the past with two different hanguns. The first was with a Ruger Super Blackhawk Hunter in 44mag. I have also taken a doe with my 45acp Kimber 1911. This summer I had my Kimber fitted with a 400 Corbon barrel. That is what I will be carrying in the woods with me come gun season.
  18. I do not discriminate...I love pancakes, waffles and french toast. Of course you have to have sausage and bacon with them.
  19. What a generous offer. Wish I was a little closer.
