I shot 2 nice mature does this afternoon. I only need 1 right now. If anybody wants a doe it is first come first served. I am in Bellevue. Shoot me a pm or reply here if you want the deer. It has been field dressed and is cooling in my garage with a bag of ice in the chest cavity. Let me know.

Only got to hunt saturday morning. Only thing I saw was a lot of squirrels. One of the squirrels was a huge red fox squirrel with a white face. He was fun to watch.

Nice write up. I agree that bigger isn't better when it comes to field dressing knives. it is hard to beat a 3" drop point blade for field dressing and processing a deer.

Does anybody know who sells this in Middle TN? My brother tried this in Atlanta and really liked it. We are having a hard time finding it. I believe it can only be sold in Liquor/Wine stores because of the high alcohol content. Thanks

There are a lot of great members there that will help you with your first purchase. It cost about $40 a year but is well worth it for the info you can get.

I agree with Dave on this one. If they were really worried about something being easier to conceal and more accurate then they would just outright ban it. Instead of banning them they just make you pay more to own one. Seems like it is just about the money.

Saw 2 large bucks chasing does yesterday. The does were having none of it but the bucks were sure fired up.

It's a tragedy that could have been prevented if the hunter had not been an idiot.

Have not seen any signs near me yet. I live close to Percy and Edwin Warner Parks. I watch those deer for signs. Right now the bucks are still running together.

I would go with the vx3 just because I do not like AO's on my hunting rifles.
