  1. Sorry Greg but you are just flat out wrong. See what you do is trade your 642 for a dozen Tauruses. Then you sell the dozen Tauruses real cheap, lets say $200 ea., so they move fast. Then you buy back your 642 and still have 2 grand in your pocket to buy more S&W's.
  2. The .40 cal only applies only to muzzleloaders as I read it. A lot of deer have been and are taken with .357 mags. The rules say any centerfire ammo is legal in rifles. It makes no mention of hunting with centerfire hanguns. Under Illegal equipment it says this: Rifles or handguns loaded with center- fire ammunition are prohibited during all deer, bear or boar seasons for hunting any wildlife except deer, bear, or boar. This tells me that it is legal to hunt deer with any centerfire handgun with a 4" barrel. I always carry a 1911 with me deer hunting. I have taken several does with a .45 1911 and a Ruger SBH Hunter in .44 mag.
  3. JG55, I work in Brentwood and would be glad to take a look at it if you would like. Another set of eyes could not hurt before you have to send back.

  11. This was passed on June 18 2009 http://state.tn.us/sos/acts/106/pub/pc0606.pdf Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency - FAQs May persons possessing handgun carry permits possess their handguns while on WMAs, PHAs, or refuges open to hunter access? Recent legislative changes provide that individuals who possess a carry permit may possess their handgun while on TWRA wildlife management areas, public hunting areas, or refuges open to hunter access. The handgun may not be used for taking game unless specifically permited by TWRA regulation. This change will now allow those with carry permits to possess their handgun at times when previously it would not have been permissible such as during archery hunting. TWRA will apply this same interpretation to those possessing carry permits while hunting on private lands. BTW, I got this info from one of Fallguys post from a couple of months ago.

  14. I have always heard, from lawyers and police, that if you are involved in a self defense shooting always have a lawyer present when you talk to the police. They will be the only ones looking out for your best interest. Even Mas Ayoob recommends that.
  15. Great news. Fill us in when find out.
