  1. There is a small covey outside of Watertown on a farm I hunt.
  2. I am not sure if I like this or not. There is something just not right about a magazine sticking out the bottom of a nice laminated stock.
  3. Don't know how I missed this thread. The pm9 is a great pocket gun. Glad you are happy with yours.
  4. Very nice quality sticker. Everybody needs to post pics of where they stick their stickers. I Know one will go on my gun safe. Not sure where the others will go yet.
  5. I just saw that story. That is one big coyote.
  6. Hope your wife gets better. I had to cancel a SD pheasant hunting trip a couple of years ago because my wife had to have surgery on her arm. She did not think it was to funny when I asked her if she could delay her surgery a week.....will not ever make that mistake again.
  7. I make jerky from ground venison. I use THe Jerky Shooter. It is just a caulk gun with wide flat tips to make the jerky strips. I use LEMs Backwoods Original seasoning. The instructions say to use one packet for 4lbs but I use it with 3 lbs. Stronger flavor. It is makes real good jerky.
  8. The term sweet sixteen was first mention is a sales piece from Browning to dealers in 1939 I believe. I know it was in the 30's. They didn't not start engraving them as Sweet Sixteen until around late forties or early fifties. I used to have several sweet sixteens and a great book from fn on all the a-5s. Cant remember the exact dates but I am in the ballpark. The sweet 16s from the late fifties are the most sought after. The butt pad is definitely added on. As someone mentioned it should have an engraved horn butt plate. Here is a link to a 16 ga forum. There are some good guys there with a lot of info on 16ga guns. 16ga.com ~ Index They are still great shooters if you have the ammo. Nice 16. Thanks for sharing it.
  9. Well I have never had this problem with a Mac. Of course, I have never forgotten my password unlike my wife...
  10. This guy has been hanging out at Radnor on and off for the last couple of years.
  11. Thanks Danny. If the cd does not work I will send you a pm.
  12. Thanks. I had forgotten that. I have the memory of a frog on crack.
  13. My nephew got his first buck last week. You couldn't wipe that grin off his face for several days.
  14. Thanks for all the suggestions. This very well could be my problem. Lunapowered made me a cd, verified it works and put it i the mail to me. Hopefully that will work. I am pretty good on a mac but really feel like an idiot when it comes to pc's. I really appreciate all the help guys. Thanks
  15. Great episode. At the end when Tara was reading John Tellers letter he said something like my sweet thomas will not have this life or something like that. Does Jax have a brother we do not know about?
  16. 45-70 is a fantastic round for deer. The Marlin 1895 is my favorite deer gun for hunting in the woods around here. Here is a pic of my 1895 with the barrel cut down to 16". Leverevolution makes a 325gr round that is a real thumper. Like Curious said, the 45-70 will take down anything in North America. Here is buck I took with it
  17. I did go back and check that. Wish that had been the problem but unfortunately it was not. It was a cd. I told the laptop to boot off the cd and it just booted up off the hard drive.
  18. It was the liveCD ISO that I burned to a disk and tried to boot from. I appreciate the offer to send one to me. Not sure what I did wrong in downloading or burning the cd. I will pm you an address. Thanks.
  19. That is one of the few Kahrs I have not owned. I am interested in hearing some reviews as well.
  20. Need some more help. I tried Ophrack and Offline NT Password Editor but coud not get either to work. The problem is I could not get her laptop to boot off the cd. I tired making the both cds from a Mac and a PC. I would put the cd in and restart. As the it starts up it gives you the choice of what to boot off of. i would select the cd drive but it would not boot up off any of the cds i made. Any suggestions or anybody in Nashville want to help me out? I pay in beer or ammo...
