Just came back from lunch and we are having a pretty good electrical storm here in Brentwood. I started wondering what would happen to the ammo in your carry piece if you were struck by lightning? Assuming you survived the lightning strike, would the ammo heat up enough to explode in your gun?

Christie's is auctioning off a collection of guns. There are two pieces of American history that would be really cool to own. The first is Al Capone's .38 Colt. The second is a .44-40 Model 1873 SAA once owned by Cole Younger. Both guns are expected to sell for over 100K. How cool would it be to own these pieces of history. I love killing animals. With that said, I only kill what my family and I am going to use. I have never understood the joy in killing only for the sake of killing. Everybody has their own set of morals. For me, I will not kill an animal unless it means me harm or I am going to eat it.

It sounds like the N92 solenoid may be sticking. Need to do some more reading. Thanks for all the replys.

We have a '03 Passat with 50k miles on it. It has the 1.8l turbo 4 cylinder engine. This is an intermittent problem. She will be driving along and the rpms jump up to around 7k and the speed drops to about 20 and will not go any faster. While this is happening the display for PRD432 will either all highlight or none will be highlighted. Sometimes the D even disappears. When this happens she will shift down to 4 and the car will drive like you would expect it to in 4th gear. She can drive about 40 without the rpms getting to high. She will drive for a couple of minutes in 4th and then switch it back to Drive and everything is back to normal. This has happened twice now. Once when my son was driving and again today when she was driving. I test drove it between these two events and it drove fine for me. Anybody have a suggestion as to what is going on? Also anybody have any suggestions for a reasonable VW repair shop? Thanks

Did someone say something about large sunfish.... This guy was caught on May 2nd in Lake Havasu. It is the new AZ state record and ties the world record for red ear sunfish. 5lbs 8oz. It is actually 1 oz larger than the previous record but IGFA rules state that you have to beat the record by 2 oz to be considered a new record. Another big thumbs up for the iPad 2. I have bought quite a few so far because we use them at work. Everybody here loves them. I got our first batch the night they went on sale. Because we have a business account, we could set up a reservation time and not have to wait in line. They went on sale at 5 and I got there at 7. the line was huge. There were several people that got pissed off that I was allowed to just walk in and not wait in line. They were really pissed when I walked back out with an arm full of iPad 2s. We have a couple of Zooms also. I agree with PirateQui that the zoom is nice but up to par with the iPad2. There are a couple of other Android Tablets that will be released soon that look pretty nice. I guess we will have to wait and see how they compare to the iPad 2.

My brother was a big skater in the 80's and 90's. We had built a 1/4 pipe in the driveway. There were several 1/2 pipes around Nashville he skated at. There was one in Rivergatge. Ronnie Milsap had one built for his son. I think there was one off of Tyne Blvd as well. He and several of his buddies rented some warehouse space in Franklin and built their own indoor skating area. I never got into it but he loves it. He still goes to Atlanta to watch competitions every year.
