Lets start a thread with tips and tricks you have learned over the years. I am not talking about things you buy but stuff you have learned or been shown. For instance, I put a cotton ball in the laces of my boots to hold my cover scent. The laces keep the cotton ball in place and a saturated cotton ball holds the scent for quite a while. Another thing I do is put corn starch in an old nose spray bottle. it works great for checking wind direction. So what kind of tricks have everybody else learned over the years?

That kinda sucks. Kahr customer service is usually pretty good. They should have at least given you a free magazine.

Fallguy, It the law the same if you renew before your permit expires? I renewed in person about a year and a half ago. The clerk told me that my receipt would serve as my permit if mine expired before they mailed me my new one. Has the law changed or was I given bad info by the clerk?

Latest news is that the man died from a gunshot, not the bear attack. It looks like his hunting partner shot the bear and the bullet passed through and hit his buddy. They guy was probably dead either way but his hunting partner has to live with the fact that he actually killed his friend. Love just about everything TC makes. I used to hunt with a Contender with a 10" 30-30 barrel. I carried it in a bandoleer holster. I would use a walking stick with a v-notch top for a shooting rest. It is a great way hunt.
