Hell of a time for our office buildings air to out. It was 78 degrees in the office at 7 am. They got the air working at about half capacity a few minutes ago. This afternoon is gonna be miserable.

Tomorrow is the one day a year that you can go fishing without a license. Also, kids ages 13-15 can fish without a license from Saturday through Friday, June 15th.

I owned an Armalite AR50. I loved it. It was built like tank and fun to shoot. It makes you feel really manly. The explosion of the round going off and the ported gasses blowing back against you are like no other gun you will shoot. It is an expensive gun to shoot though. I sold mine because it seemed like a waste to only shoot it at a hundred yards. I didn't have a lot of time to shoot or access to a long range. If you are serious about getting a fifty, check out fcsa.org. Fifty caliber shooting association. It is a great organization and worth joining. The members are great at helping and sharing knowledge.

Had not heard anything about this movie till I saw the trailer. It stars Billy Bob Thornton and Eva Longoria. A southern, whip-ass extravaganza is how it is described. I have always been a big fan of single shot pistols. Your Savage Stryker, XP 100, Contender/Encore and other brands. The only one I have actually owned is the Contender/Encore. While the Contender/Encore is a great gun, it has never had the cool factor the XP 100 has. I think the XP 100 is the best looking single shot pistol out there. I am sure there are some members here that have one. So if you do, post a pic of it and let us know what it is chambered in.

Thanks Whiskey. That is some great info. I have always bought the stuff and sprayed the outside of my clothes. I really like the idea of dipping the clothes into the mixture like that.

I used to have an AR-50. Very well made rifle. Mild recoil and a blast to shoot. You should be able to get one under 4g. If you are serious about getting into a .50, you should join Fifty Caliber Shooter Association http://www.fcsa.org/wwwroot/index.php Great group of guys and are very helpful in figuring out what gun fits your needs best.

This stuff you linked to is Permethrin. There are a lot of companies that sell Permethrin. This stuff is great but do not spray it on your skin. It is made to treat your clothes. Every turkey season and bow season I spray down my clothes with this stuff. One application is supposed to last through several washings. I hunted Saturday and Sunday and did not get one tick or chigger.
