Bumped one walkin in to my stand. Hopefully they will be moving this afternoon. I need some fresh back straps.

I have not used these types of optics before and I was not aware of the Trijicon.  While doing some searching yesterday I came across it.  I really like the looks of it and like you said it has a lot of good reviews.  I am hoping someone here with first hand knowledge can throw their two cents in.

I just got a G40 which is the long slide 10mm.  I want to put a sight on it and use it for hunting.  I do not have any experience with the micro red dot sights. I have been looking at the Burris Fast Fires, Eotech Micro red dots and the new Leupold Deltapoint reflex sight.   Both the Eotech and Leopold are in the $600-700 range while the Burris is half that.     My main concern is the sight being able to hold zero while shooting full house 10mm loads.   Would love to hear some first hand experience on these sights.  Also let me know if there are any other sights I should be considering.

The beast finally got here. Here he is in all his glory. The 2nd pic is with his little brother, G20. Now I just have to decide what optic to buy.

Turtle 1 just flipped turtle 2 onto his back. Kind of a dick move if you ask me.

Nothing yet but I am getting to watch two turtles go at it...

I got my 6s today but have not really had time to play with it yet.

I have Allstate for our house.  I have had to file two claims with them over the last 25 years.  Both times they were very helpful and reasonable.  I am very happy with them.

That deer has a great looking rack. He will be a monster in a year or two if he makes it. I would have a hard time passing him up if he walked past my stand.

It is been to long since I hunted Catoosa.  I did most of my hunting on the Genesis side.  Saw some good sign but never saw a hog.   Good luck.

It is ridiculous how many people associated with outdoor shows get busted for illegal hunting.  I guess they are willing to do anything to get ratings for their show.

  That sounds interesting.  I bet that makes it much more enjoyable to shoot or at least allow you to practice a bit more.

 I remember that guy.  Always dancing, waving and had a big smile on his face.  Always brightened my day up seeing him.

  What CZ said.  I will probably buy a couple for my design department but I do not see the everyday mac user using one of these.

  That's interesting.  We have had the opposite experience.  All of our developers do their work on a MBP or iMac.  We even do all of our Android programming on macs.  Its funny when we hire a new android developer and hand them a mac.  They always gripe and complain for the first couple of days.  After about a week every one of them has said they can't believe how much better they like coding on a mac.

For those of you that are interested, the Brentwood Walgreens is 1275 yards from the front of my office building.   This 1600-B is a great little rangefinder.  I have not even begun to figure out all that it will do but looking forward to it.

Fox news article said the 16yo was found inside the house in the foyer.  If he was shot in the head it should be pretty easy to figure out if he was shot out on the porch or inside.
