    T/C Compass

You are correct about there being stiff competition at this price point. I would buy this over a Ruger any day. It will have to be really good to give Savage a run for its money.

Looks like T/C's new affordable rifle might be a winner. It has a lot of features for a rifle with a MSRP of 399. Time will tell but I bet it will be a popular hunting rifle. Some of the features: Adjustable trigger offers a crisp release for precision shooting. Ergonomic, lightweight stock combines a classic look with modern contours and textured grip panels. Soft rubber recoil pad gives maximum felt recoil reduction. Three-lug 60 degree lift bolt provides good scope clearance and a smooth, easy cycling action. Aluminum pillar bedding with a bedding system that positively locates the receiver and free-floats the barrel for outstanding accuracy. Button-rifled barrel, with 5R rifling – that provides outstanding accuracy and easy cleaning. Features an easy-to-use 3-position safety (with bolt lock) that provides positive tactile feel, clear visibility and easy access. Detachable (5-round standard calibers, 4-round magnum calibers) rotary magazine fits flush with the stock and provides smooth feeding. Receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounting (Weaver-style bases included) and comes with sling swivel studs. The barrel is even threaded for brakes or suppressors. Comes in all the standard calibers. 3. Isn't that one only available in .45? I think Capbyrd means a full size in 9mm.
  4. The Oxcart A-12 was the predecessor to the SR-71 Blackbird.
  5. I saw that fight. I was surprised how cyborg crumpled from the knee because it didn't look that bad. After seeing the x-ray it all makes sense now. That looks nasty.
  6. At least it was a good final round. Henrik played awesome.
  7. If a member does not have feedback then the add feedback button will not be there, Go tot he top of the page to where it says Browse. You will get a drop down menu. Click on feedback, should be the fourth option down the list. From the page it brings up, type the users name in the search bar it gives you. Select their name when it comes up and it will let you add feedback. Once a member has feedback then the add feedback button shows up on the profile.
  8. The supplied screw with my G40 MOS did not work with my RMR. Trijicon sells a kit for the glocks that have the proper screws and a gasket to fit in between the frame and the rmr.
  9. Why don't you go strum something...the grown ups are talking.
  10. That's a pretty good price for FMJ. About 5-6 bucks cheaper than underwood.
  11. I think Henrik wants some payback for three years ago when Phil beat him in the Open. I don't think lefty will be able to pull this one out. Hope he does though.
  12. I normally only shoot Underwood. Their 180gr JHP: Ballistics Information: Muzzle Velocity: 1300 fps Muzzle Energy: 676 ft. lbs. Didn't realize Prvi was so much weaker. Came across some of the Prvi 180gr JHP for $25 for a box of 50. The underwood is $36/50 for 180gr JHP. Think I will just stick with the Underwood. Thanks
  13. Anybody shot the 10nm of this brand? If so what are your thoughts on it?
  14. I got a set as well. Only one version was on sale for 58. It was the 8x42s I believe. The other versions (8x33 and the 10x) were more expensive.
  15. Just about anything Willet puts out is amazing. One of my favorite brands.
  16. Gotcha. I never liked shooting my buddies 23. The recoil was snappy and just did not feel right. In the full size 20 I am sure it would be fine. 40 is cheaper than 10mm so its might not be a bad idea.
  17. Why would anyone want to defile their G20 with a .40 conversion...
  18. Glad to know I wasn't the only one having issues.
