  1. Looking for a dove field to hunt? Here is a link that shows where the public hunts will be across the state! More are being added daily so check it daily! https://www.tn.gov/twra/article/dove
  2. Yes I know I am still a child but that is funny.
  3. Fiber Fix was one of the products on Shark Tank. It is pretty amazing stuff/
  4. Don't know anything about their pistols but I do have one of their rifles. It looks like this one.
  5. Member Chris has. He is also on the board of the Nashville chapter of SCI. If you are interested in hunting Africa you should join our chapter. There is a wealth of information there. Chris just got back from a month hunting trip in Africa. He gave a great presentation at our last chapter meeting.
  6. I got this in an auction. I had been looking for a way to store some of my ammo and thought this was pretty cool. It's more of a nostalgia thing really. It reminded me going to the hardware store when I was younger and seeing all the ammo on display. It was pretty rusty and paint was peeling off the wood pieces. I took it a part and started cleaning. Got all the rust and peeling paint off. Scraped and cleaned the glass doors. Gave it a coat of fresh spray paint and put it back together. Turned out pretty good. The plastic insert sign did not clean up very well but that just adds to the charm.
  7. The Federals are pretty anemic compared to Underwood. The Underwood 180 Gr XTP JHP is putting out 676 ft. lbs. That's almost 63% percent more ft. lbs. at the muzzle. Let me know if you are ever going to be down in the Brentwood area and I will hook you up with a box to try out.
  8. There are a lot of apps like that for bike riders that should work just fine. Search for bicycling apps and I am sure you can find something.
  9. I'm partial to Underwood ammo.
  10. I wonder if you would feel the same if your wife was jutting in a car minding her own business and some guy came up and pointed at rifle directly at her. I talked to my neighbor some more and rifle was pointed directly at her. When she said it was not pointed at her she just meant that he did not have it shouldered with his hand on the trigger. Even though he was cradling the rifle in his arms, the muzzle was pointed right at her chest.
  11. I am a big guy and not very sensitive to recoil. I never noticed the increase in recoil. I shoot a T/C Encore. They are actually strong enough to shoot smokeless powder. So luckily everything help together and there seems to be no ill effects of shooting the 200 grains.
  12. Kahrman is as dumbass, don't be like Kahrman. No matter how long you have been doing something, always pay or attention or you can make mistakes. Last season I could not get my muzzleloader to pattern very well. In the past I had no problem getting two inch groups at 80 yards, which is not bad for a muzzleloader. Last season I could not get my groups under 7-8" at 50yards. I hunted only in thick stuff where I had short shots. Didn't get a deer and at the end of muzzleloader season I put it back in the safe. Couple of weeks ago I getting all my deer rifles out and giving them a good cleaning. I grab the muzzleloader and realize it is still loaded from last season. There was not a primer but I did leave the powder and sabot in the barrel. I pull my preach plug and push the pellets and sabot out. Two pellets come out and when they hit the workbench each pellet broke in half. So I am sitting there wondering why there were 4 pellets in my gun. Then it hit me. I had been sighting in and hunting with 200 grains of powder instead of 100. I shoot 777 50/50 pellets. The box has compartments that are 5 deep and ten across. 50 compartments that hold 2 50 grain pellets each. I had used the pipe cleaner and picked up two pellets thinking it was one pellet. A magnum load is considered 150 grains and I was shooting 200 grains. No wonder I could not get it to pattern. Well this season I plan on going back to 100 grains and hopefully get my groups back down to a respectable size.

    PM9 or CM9

Imho spend the extra and get the PM9. I have always carried either a P or PM series. I have never shot a CM series so I am just recommending what I know.
  14. She had been there about 10 minutes. She pulled into a very nice little neighborhood thinking it would be a good place to talk on the phone. She was deep into a phone conversation and just said not notice him walking up. Remember, most people do not have the situational awareness most of us have.
  15. now it is saying some of it is in stock - something weird is going on with the site
  16. Don't know what the odds are of drawing an elk tag but since they only give out 5 or 10 tags it has gotta be pretty slim.
  17. Congrats. i just checked mine and was unsuccessful on both drawings. At least there is still a chance for elk.
  18. I call on your statement that we no longer have the emoticon.
  19. Sounds like the only difference is the patrol offices give their report to a detective. The detective finds out any other information he can and then he forwards it on to the DA. The patrol officer said they forward anything with a gun or that is a more serious crime to a detective first.
  20. Not sure. They basically told her there was nothing she could do to have him arrested last night. They were just going to get both sides of the story and turn the info over to a detective.
