  1. Outpost Junction is in Cookeville. Did you get it there?
  2. Interesting. i wonder if mine will get easier to open with more use.
  3. It is in Christiana, just outside Murfreesboro
  4. My magic actually takes some force to open. There is absolutely no way it could inadvertently open in my pocket. The piece you slide with your thumb is fairly stiff on mine. I wonder if it the same on others.
  5. Very cool. Always thought it would cool to hunt them.
  6. That would be great if it is not out of your way. I am tied up from about 11:00-12:30 but will be there the rest of the day.
  7. If so do they mark it so you know it was reboxed?
  8. If they rebox something so it looks like they did not cause the damage, then they are hiding something. I understand that. But if what Capbyrd is saying is true then PSA will never get reimbursed. They will file a claim and UPS will say that the shipping box isn't damaged so we are not responsible, claim denied. If UPS needs to rebox something it needs to be marked as such. Capbyrd is saying they rebox and do not mark it as such.
  9. I disagree. If they damage your shipment and then hide that damage by reboxing it so that they do not have to pay for the damage they caused then that is very shady if not illegal. PSA is having to spend money to have this ammo shipped back and probably will not be able sell it or if they do it will be at a reduced price. All of this cost PSA money. If UPS caused the damage then they should be footing the bill to make it right, not PSA.
  10. The shipping box did not have any damage. I guess it is possible that UPS reboxed it after they damaged it but I think that would be highly unlikely. Could you imagine the lawsuit UPS would face if they were caught covering up damage they caused so the original shipper had to pay for it? In todays climate if this was going on some UPS driver would have ratted them out. I think PSA got bombarded with orders and they stock guys in the warehouse just packed up what they had and sent it out. Guess we will never know for sure.
  11. Just talked to PSA. After sitting on hold for 49 minutes they finally answered. The gentleman I spoke with was fantastic. He seemed genuinely irritated that they sent out wet ammo. He sent me a UPS label and RMA form so I could send it back and they will be replacing it. That is the kind of customer service I like. They apologized, said ship it back and we will make it right.
  12. I will give them a call. The offer did not say anything about seconds or loose at least not that I saw. The shipping container is dry so they were put in there wet.
  13. Someone posted about a week ago a good deal PSA was running. $199 for 1000 rounds of 7.62x39 with free shipping. I bought 1000 rounds. It arrived today. The first pic is how it looked when I opened the box. Not that of a big deal because I was going to put it in an ammo can. Then I start pulling some of it out. First off, they only sent 960 rounds or 24 boxes. Second, the whole bottom layer of boxes, 15, are wet. Cardboard coming apart when you pick it up. Should I pull the ammo out of the cardboard boxes and let them air dry and not worry about it or send the whole lot back and ask for a refund?
  14. There is another thread set up for showing your secret santa gift.
  15. I have never seen those before. I checked out the website and they have the rifled adapters in 3", 5", 8" . Not sure why you would want to shoot a 9mm out of a 12ga though.
  16. I assume that they would be full length inserts. Otherwise you would damage the barrels. A lot of skeet shooter use inserts. Instead of buying multiple guns they buy a 12ga and then get 20 and 28 ga inserts. Never seen them in rifle or pistol cartridges.
  17. Looks great. It is amazing what a little elbow grease and the right tools can do to bring back a finish. Nice work!
  18. Good luck. Hope you get something.
  19. My 20 handles Underwood just fine.
  20. My secret santa must have done some research and saw I like bourbon. He gave me a book on the history and future of bourbon. Two Yeti lowball ramblers and a cool FN hat. Those lowball ramblers will be put to good use. Thanks secret santa.
