  1. Trijicon sells a kit for mounting the RMR to Glock MOS's "This kit includes the sealing plate and proper screws needed to mount an RMR® on the Glock® MOS slide. See "When to use the RMR Sealing Plate" in FAQ." https://www.trijicon.com/na_en/products/product3.php?pid=AC32064 This kit solved my problem when mounting a RMR to my Glock 40 MOS.
  2. This takes either S&W 38 or the 38 Colt New Police not a 38 special. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

  4. The law you quoted says nothing about purchasing a firearm. It is about possessing one. Under that law someone can loan a firearm if you are going to hunt with it but it does not say anything about purchasing. Maybe @robtattoo or @Oh Shoot can supply a little more info that might help you. Oh and welcome to TGO.
  5. You must have a pretty fat wallet. Have you priced those Radio Flyer Trikes...they are pretty expensive.
  6. I know a member. I will contact him and see what I can find out.
  7. On our side of town you also have Davidson County Sportsman Club off of Eatons Creek. I assume it is still open. There was a waiting list to join a few years ago. Their range is a little over a 100 if I remember correctly.
  8. If you are surfing from a tablet have you tried using the full site or mobile skin through a browser like safari, chrome or Firefox?
  9. That is really cool. Even cooler that it is a good shooter.
  10. I don't. I know it causes lots of headache's but it is hands down the easiest and quickest way to upload pics from a mobile device.
  11. On my computer I am seeing what the other see and in Tapatalk this is what I see... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  12. There is one other thing to consider and that is cocking the crossbow. 180lb crossbow is no problem for a young strong man to cock. For me, not so easy. So I went with a Ten Point crossbow that had a crank cocking assist. Makes cocking the crossbow very easy. The only problem is they are not cheap add ons or the bows with them built in are fairly expensive.
  13. 150lb but 180 is probably better. The distance the strings travels on a crossbow is generally about half the distance of a compound. So 150lb - 180lb crossbow equates to a 60lb - 75lb compound bow. Just like with anything you can spend as much as you want. Most hunting crossbows are going to start more than $200. The cheapest hunting crossbow I saw at bass pro was $279. Most starter packages were in the 399-499 range. You have plenty of time before next season so I am sure you can find a good deal if you search around.
  14. When I go to your profile I can see your profile pic of a revolver, all your recent post activity, that you are from Knoxville and it looks like you were are law enforcement and military.
  15. A pass thru is desirable. More damage and easier for them to bleed out. An arrow that goes half way in and stays effectively seals the wound and it takes a lot longer for the deer to bleed out. They can cover a lot of distance with the extra time.
  16. I just pinged one of my guys that uses our 3D printer a lot and is also a gun guy. The thought intrigued him and he is going to look into it.
