It kind of depends on what you consider 'affordable'. Under $500 you can find Yugo M48 Mausers, Lee-Enfields in several flavors, Mosin Nagants, Japanese Type 38 and 99, Italian Carcano, Austrian Steyr, and I've recently seen a couple of Czech VZ24 Mausers in 7mm for around $400.

The H&H doubles are true art in steel and wood! If you get one, you will want to have it where you can gaze on it lovingly from time to time! I've never shot a .500 H&H. But, I have shot a Westley-Richards .450 Nitro Express double rifle. While a double rifle gives the hunter the option of a very quick second shot on dangerous animals, the heavy recoil has been known to cause the second sear to jump if the spring has weakened. I have seen this happen, and the two shots going off almost together caused quite a bruise on the fellows shoulder! Years ago, I had a .416 Rigby built on a M1917 action. Beautiful rifle! It came with 110 rounds of Kynoch 400 grain solid bullet ammo. At the time, I had dreams of being able to go on safari.

The Beretta 1934 .380 and Star F/FR/FM .22s. I have too many of these and yet when I see one for sale, I get a bad case of 'I want it'.

I've got an Crosman M4 look-a-like. The biggest issue is that the seals at the top of the CO2 cartridge can crack after getting cold. Also, when they are cold, the seals are hard, and may not seal properly. With rapid fire, the magazine gets cold pretty fast. That said, they are a lot of fun and pretty accurate out to about 30-40 feet..

Go to a good bike shop and try on helmets. You need to get the head shape and size right to be worthwhile. Also, I ride with a modular helmet. It's all the protection of a full-face helmet, but the chin bar flips up to allow you to talk, drink and eat without taking off the helmet. It also makes it easier to put it on. Also, in hot weather, being able to flip it up at a stoplight and get more breeze is a very good thing. FYI, the Cycle Gear in Madison has a pretty good selection.
