Sorry bro. Tried to get it posted quick. -

I'm blaming it on androids crappy spell checker.
-
I thank you for your apology. I have a different view though. In my mind "rape" is an act of force. No one at CTD forced buyers to purchase ammo from them. As far as brown bear ammo is concerned, it goes bang when the triggers pulled and that's what's important when TSHTF. Lol

Its "lighten up Francis". I'm assuming you were trying to make a sarcastic witticism using a quote from the move Strips. It looses its effect when you get the quote wrong.
-
I respect your right to express your opinions but this was not a request for opinions. It was meant to share information to those who wished to purchase ammo before it was sold out.
-
Update, CTD has sold out of the $299 ammo.
-
Prices are what the market will bear. Regardless of CTD's price hike, taking firearms off sale or asking $99 dollars for a PMag, I am not going to pass up the opportunity to pick up much needed ammo nor advise others looking for a source to replenish their stock. If you don't like CTD, post it on one of the many "I'll never buy from CTD again" threads that I'm are available or start your own new one. Please be respectful to the original post and not facilitate the hijacking of an information post. Thanks.

I understand peoples anger about prices since Newton but didn't we all learn about supply side economics in school?
-
CTD has brown bear hollow point steel cased rounds for $299 per 500. Just fyi.

So looks like the gun buster circle with slash or the T.C.A. 13.15.1359 lingo sign displayed in a prominate location and of a size that can easily been seen by anyone entering the building or premise. So the sign than says " no guns" on the door or my favorite restaurant can be ignored. I'm happy now.

I've shot both the Sig and my brothers XD in .45 cap. In my opinion the XD was the better gun. His is a 5" barrel so wouldn't be my first choice for an EDC. Just my 2p-

Best 9mm for carry, (and I've had many) is the Kimber Solo carry. Best .45 I've ever carried (again, I've had many) is the Colt New Agent.

It would be interesting to see the age demographic also as I've notice younger folks prefer the Glocks where old timers like myself prefer the 1911. Respect the classics man!
-
Well I bought them because I needed them and I'm not sure I'll be able to get them before the Obama Nazis outlaw the sale of them. Plus they were cheaper than the vendors were selling ak mags for at the Franklin gun show last weekend. Those bastards wanted $40 and up for ak mags.
-
Didn't realize there was this much love for CTD. I've never had a problem with them but apperantly others have. Thanks for the CDNN suggestion HiPower. I ordered a few from them also.
-
Just ordered three 30 round ak47 mags for $19.99 each. First place I've seen them in stock since CT happened. Get em while they last.

To the people who keep saying there is no need to own a so called "assault rifle." Last time I checked it was the Bill of Rights, not the Bill of Needs. As far as the AR15 being a "military style weapon." The modern lever action rifle of the old west was first developed for military use in the civil war. The first bolt action rifles were used by the Prussian army in 1841. The first semiautomatic rifle (the Mondragón) was also a military rifle designed for the Mexican army. Just about every modern rifle has its roots as a military weapon first before being adapted for the civilian market. The AR15 is just the latest. But I guess history and education doesn't sell as well as fear. Just my 2 cents.

I find it interesting that the journalist who wrote the story is ignorant to the meaning of the word "marksmen". They state the bills would allow "untrained marksmen" to carry in schools, but the very term "marksmen" means one who is trained and accurate with a firearm.
-
That one was on my short list when I was looking for a compact 1911. I shot a friends and it was sweet but I went with the colt new agent instead.

A petition to get the Obama administration to support the NRA School Shield program has surpassed the 25,000 signatures needed to get a whitehouse response. Let's see what they say. My bets on they plead the 5th. https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/support-and-fully-endorse-national-rifle-associations-national-school-shield-program/zDkJjQ12

Pizza Hut Demotes driver for defending himself
Mykltn replied to Mykltn's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
I left a comment on their Facebook page detailing my disgust with their reaction to the driver protecting himself. I got this reply from pizza hut, "Michael, we understand your concern and we are looking into this issue." Sounds like a load of sh#t to me.
