  1. Hornady TAP 147gr. My Kinber Solo requires at least 124 gr ammo and the Hornady TAP 147gr feeds reliably in it.
  2. I looked at the Sig when i was shopping for a carry 9mm. Only reason i didn't get it was my dislike of polymer frames. They just don't feel right in my hand. Not sure if it's cause they feel top heavy or maybe just the physical feel on the polymer in my hand. If it had been metal frame it would have probably gone home with me that day. Luckily soon after handling the Sig I found my Kimber Solo. If your Sig runs anything like mySig P238 did, you'll have a great carry gun.

    Steyr M9-A1?

This is what I found. http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2012/03/joe-grine/gun-review-steyr-m9a1/
  4. Remington Golden Saber 102gr. Nuff said.
  5. I do have to admit the inward arch at the back of the grip makes it very comfortable to hold. And the over sized trigger guard will make it very easy to deploy in winter with gloves on. I will try and give a range report after i shoot it but it may take some time as I only have the one hand to type with.
  6. Just got extra mags from MRI today, hoping to get them to the range soon and run some rounds through it. The GunBlast.com review said the Micro will eat any ammo. Can't wait to find out.
  7. Just for you Rusty. Thats a 3x5 inch index card for reference.
  8. The pistol I miss the most is the RIA compact I sold to a friend. I eventually replaced it with a Springfield Micro GI but I still regret selling the RIA. Can't beat them for the money.
  9. Those are great looking guns. Both my 1911's are Sprinfields but I do have a Kimber Solo Carry and love it. Congrats on getting a great gun.
  10. Well, with all due respect, I really wasn't interested in your opinion. I was requesting reviews and suggestions on metal frame 32's/380's and specific reviews on the NAA Guardians and the Micro Desert Eagle. The fact that you do not see value in owning any 380 that's not polymer is probably best expressed in someones else's thread who is actively soliciting that opinion. As written in my opening post, I am not.
  11. An individual who does not possess a federal firearms license may not sell a modern firearm to a resident of another state without first transferring the firearm to a dealer in the purchaser's state. [9] Firearms received by bequest or intestate succession are exempt from those sections of the law which forbid the transfer, sale, delivery or transportation of firearms into a state other than the transferor's state of residence. [9] Likewise, antique firearms are exempt from these sections of the law in most states. (Antique firearms are defined as those manufactured pre-1899 by US federal law, or modern replicas thereof that do not use cartridges. State law definitions on antique firearms vary considerably from state to state.) Hope this helps.
  12. Found a good reference for anyone wanting to compare pocket pistols. This really helped in my research. http://www.mouseguns.com/PocketAutoComparison.pdf
  13. Thanks Rusty. I'll post a pic when I get home later. Still need to find a holster for it. May try and modify an uncle Mike's
  14. Thanks Jonnin. My wife has the Tomcat. 32acp. Its a great little gun but the Micro is much smaller.
  15. I looked at the Seecamp and MPA380P and both require two hands to eject the mag which is not possible for me right now. I decided to go with the Micro Eagle as I found a new one in Nickel for $425. It's smaller than the NAA, LCP, Tomcat, Keltec and P238. Trigger pull is a bit long but since its the only safety feature, I like that for a gun that's going to ride in my front pocket.
  16. +1 on the Ruger SP101. I'd also consider getting a snubnose. Easier to conceal and very accurate when practiced with.
  17. Thanks for all the responses. Again, I appriciate all the suggestions but I am just not a fan of Plastic guns. I understand the benefits of the weight and cost but to me they just don't feel right in my hand. And if it doesn't feel right, it's less likely to be carried.
  18. I already have the S&W Bodyguard .38spl but it is still too big for a comfotable front pocket carry. The interest in the Micro Eagle and Gardian are because they are the smallest I've found so far.
  19. Ok, so i dislocated my elbow on my weak arm the other day and its made me realize how hard it is to holster and maintain my normal CCW with just one arm. So I've decided to get a pocket gun to carry until my arm heals. I've been looking at the NAA .32 and .380 gardians and also the Micro Eagle .380. Has anyone had any experiences with these guns? I know there are other firearms out there that might fit my needs and apprciate any suggestions but I am only interested in metal frame pistols at this time. Thanks in advance.

    Buying and Trading

Any out of state sales or purchases to anyone who is not a resident of your state has to go through an FFL.

    ATI 1911

I had one and problems with the guide rod stop. It was too thin and held onto the rod with nothing more than a screw. It popped on the second time at the range. It locked the slide and took me 30 minutes to get it apart. Once I replaced the parts I sold it.

    Handgun Tips Video!

just an observation, you've made a video using a black glock and your backdrop is a black tv screen which means no one can see your hand handle the pistol until its in front of you.
