  1. Mike,   I agree with Fred, Get a Rick Hinderer XM series knife when you can, and when you are ready for the fastest non spring assisted folder get yourself a RJ Martin Q36   Edge Pro now sells that for recurve blades,(they did not when I bought mine) trust me try it out on cheaper knives before using it on more expensive ones, and I guarantee you that you will absolutely love the Edge Pro sharpener, I have the Apex one   as far as Ken Onion knives, trust me one of these days you will want a custom from him directly (ask me how I know) but they cost (at least mine did) more than a semi custom 1911, sadly i sold my Onion custom off last year for a very good profit. I must say that  in my opinion Ken Onion,RJ Martin and Rick Hinderer build the best american made custom folding knives out there
  2. Congrats Mike, you are building a very impressive collection!
  3. I am looking forward to these they will be damn nice!
  4. I had one as well, but just could not warm up to the bull pup, if you like the bull pup design the PS90 is a fantastic rifle!
  5. Fred, You will not have to swing by RJ Martins booth for me this year, he is holding my knife and sending it to me when I get home but thanks for doing that for me last year!
  6. Have fun guys, stuck offshore again at least this time it is Australia very cool here down under!
  7. You will not regret the Edge Pro, you can do a mirror polish on a razor sharp blade that will blow you away. The only thing is you can not do a Recurve blade like a Zero Tolerance 300 series knife with out an adapter, this is why I bought a Spyderco sharp-maker as well now I can sharpen anything. I did own a Wicked Edge system for a short while, a friend of mine wanted it so bad that he made me a trade offer so good I could not pass on it, they are extremely nice as well but at the end of the day will cost you more than the Edge Pro will
  8. You honestly think those look better than a Raptor?
  9. Most definitely get yourself a Chris Reeve knife when you can. I currently have a Sebenza 25 and a Wilson Combat Star Tac, ( Chris Reeve Umnumzaan) I love them both but tend to carry the Star Tac more. In my opinion these are the absolute best production folding knives that money can buy, I own much more expensive knives but for the money these are my best You have already gotten the bug and the nice thing about knives is that you do not have to feed them ammo!
  10. Academy is my favorite sporting goods store, I have Never had a problem with their staff in any of their stores that I visit in several states. They are always courteous and helpful and they always stock the things that I need
  11. Very nice Knives you got there, both are excellent models
  12. I beg to differ, I worked for cable companies for over 20 years, and one thing I can tell you for certain is that there are people out there who will get their water turned off before losing their HBO, go with out eating out at places to keep their cable on with broadband Internet now it only reinforces people's dependencies to the cable companies
  13. I have 5.5 acres and we have a commercial Great Dane Zero turn that I put through hell every season and it is the best mower I have ever used. Problem is after I showed the wife how to use it, we now fight over who gets to cut the yard, it is that much fun!
  14. Congrats Eric, that is an extremely nice home and you will no longer be throwing your money away every month on rent!
  15. By the way congrats on the new F150 Mike, they are awesome trucks to say the least

    My New SR1911

The grips are not my thing but that is a great 1911, I believe you will love it in my opinion they are the best 1911 in their price range I have shot two different ones and they were fantastic
  17. After having driven this car several hours I can honestly say that $70k is a bargain for this car. I have driven cars costing way more than that and this one is the best I have driven. Ford got this right it truly is an American Supercar
  18. Waiting for nice weather then I will take many more pictures
  19. I know Mike, I won't lie I miss it but the thing is my Raptor was a Sport truck so it was hard for me to use it like a hard use truck because it was soo damn nice, next truck I get will be a hard use work truck now that I have a sports car plus this is the last year of this current body style and I have wanted one of these since the very first year they were released
  20. Sadly I cannot afford to own both so I traded in my Raptor today on my dream 4 seat sports car, so here is Shelby my 2014 Shelbly GT500. She is loaded with every option and truly a Supercar. I need to find a race track to unleash it in Launch Mode and go to 200 MPH, man I love this Pony!
