  1. I guess that all depends on the knives that you own. I go from custom to semi custom to production knives on my carry rotations. All of my folding knives make excellent carry knives so I rotate them quite frequently.
  2. As usual You are correct my friend, I love SMKW but have never liked Mantis knives, I know of many people who have had problems with them, one of the reasons I would never own one myself
  3. I will try and post some pics tomorrow, I carried it today and am reminded of why the Q36 is my favorite folding knife!
  4. Well yes I am the pilot but only when I am on the boat! This started 3 hours after we got to Downtown Perth
  5. Guys and girls, Let me explain a few things, I work with every foreigner that you can think of, and we had a drinking contest, Any way I normally do not get involved in child like things like this, but the Britt's and Germans, and the people from Holland challenged me at the Pub in Western Australia to drink a shot of every whiskey that they had in the bar, I had a total of 15 shots less than 5 hours hours ago, I kid you not! What kept me sober and able to drink my co workers under the frikken table was how they kept talking crap about how Americans can not keep up, We started with Irish Whiskey, moved to Scotch then to Jim Beam and then my favorite Jack Daniels,. I have never been so pissed off about how people talked about my county and my friends that I kicked them all on the nuts by standing up to them. The only person that could hang with me was a German female Co Worker that earned my respect, I left the International Terminal an hour ago and I am drinking some some strong coffe before I bourd my flight to Melbourne Aus, but please let me say that I did my best and succeeded to show all the International co workers that we from Tennessee can kick their butts!
  6. Congrats, Post pics, I would love to see it!
  7. I will post some when I get home, about to begin my long journey home, weird thing is that we are a day ahead over here in Australia so expect some pictures around Thursday or so, Chris, I can put you in touch with RJ if you want, just PM me he is a great guy to deal with and when he finds the time I am quite sure he would be willing to build you one the exact way you would like it
  8. Chris, Just had a chat with Ray, He is a gentleman as well as a fantastic knife maker I will have a knife from him sometime next year!
  9. Well RJ completed and shipped one of my knives to me, it is home waiting for me, Q36 with Carbon Fiber slabs, I made the mistake of selling the one I got last year, and will be keeping this one and all future ones, I will post pictures when I get home
  10. I am going to contact Ray about getting a similar one, I have wanted one of his knives for a long time and yours has pushed me over the edge, Congrats on such a fine flipper!
  11. Very nice knife, I wish you were closer I would love to compare that to one of my  Q36 knives, I have been eyeing those knives for a long time now I absolutely love the way that knife looks!
  12. I have both, I use the Pacific Salt offshore at work, the knife has been with me for 3 years used excessively in a salt water offshore environment and has still not showed any signs of corrosion, I am very pleased with both knives but would get the Pacific Salt if you are at all concerned about corrosion
  13. I have been looking for an Entry model (SBS) and have not been able to find one so gave up I do not think you can go wrong with either of these Shotguns I only learned about the FN while researching and trying to find myself an M4

    I Pad help

I gave my wife my 64gb Wi Fi and 3G model, A couple of months ago when I bought my 128GB model, I store a months worth of Entertainment on mine every time I go to work so I use most of my storage. The difference between the 2nd and Fourth generation is the retina display and yes it is faster, having said that my old 64 GB 2nd edition is still fantastic and my wife absolutely loves it
  16. You will love the Shrike, they are awesome!
  17. Brian, I am in for two with consecutive serial numbers Awesome job you are doing getting this deal!
  18. We are clearing out our unused property and have begun removing trees, if any of you all do this for a living including stump Grinding and tree removal and would like some side work, Also we need our property professionally surveyed to find out exact boundaries, I am in Wilson County please PM me
  19. For anyone who has not shot a Bobtailed 1911, My second 1911 that I ever owned was an Ed Brown Kobra Carry, before I shot that pistol I had never seen a Bob tailed 1911, for me anyway they are awesome. After the Kobra carry every commander length 1911 i owned was Bobtailed and If I ever buy another commander length 1911 it will be Bobtailed but I prefer 5 inch Government model 1911's and in them I prefer the standard grip and not the Bobtail
  20. I have to say that my new SRP is the perfect 1911 for me, The Gold bead sight on the front I absolutely love. With the Gunners Grips it feels perfect in my hand and is more accurate than any hand gun I have ever shot. I love the blacked out look and honestly I do not think I will ever part with this one, it is perfection to me
  21. Fred, I seriously may take you up on this is they ever come in, I will keep the Operator and let you buy the regular one I however am not holding my breath for when they may come in
  22. I Decided that I like Goverment model 1911's so I will pass on the Commanche model SRP And I now have one Guncrafter Industry No Name pistol on order, in 10MM Mav, I will keep my orders on the PC9111's open, like you said I can always sell them if I don't like them, but the wait keeps increasing so I will be lucky to ever receive them
  23. I know, But the wait just got increased another year, so we will see if I ever get them If not I know that if i buy the Commanche this pair of SRP's will more than satisfy me
  24. They are out there if you can find one, Ed has done limited editions of them
  25. Yes, I am quite sure that it could be very simple fix for it to accept CMC mags but I will just use Wilson 47D magazines and be happy. I am going to do the deal on the baby brother I will be making payments on the pistol and hopefully have it in a few months if all goes well
