The affected ones will fail within a few openings, if you have opened and closed yours no matter the serial numbers multiple times, you are good to go, The short spring will slip out of the blade if it is one of the affected ones   I know of 4 of them that have already been repaired and sent back to the owners

If any of you have an issue with the spring in your knifes, some of the ones in this run were cut too short when installed in the knife. I attribute this to me having them rushed to me so I could get them shipped out, as I have owned nearly 20 of their knives and never had one issue with them,    So if you have a problem email dave@protechknives.com    He will create a Fed Ex shipping label and send it to you, this will not cost you one cent to get it repaired very quickly

I made that mistake before with a Microtech, always use the pocket clip when carrying an auto especially one that opens with great force

I have always stored all of my automatic knives closed, if they are of high quality it does not hurt them at all. I had a Microtech UDT stored closed for over 8 years that fired just as fast as when it was new

  if you commission Bill to make you a case, you will be delighted, several  years ago he made me two 12 knife Burgundy nylon cases they were built better than anything I have used   before I got my Maxpedition  ones I tried to contact him as I could only find the leather ones available, if you can find them there is no better knife case available in my opinion

Mike those are awesome!   One thing I promise you guys if the Godfather sale goes off as well as it should, at some point there will be a Godson run to match

I go back offshore in a few days and I should be bummed out, but I am actually excited, I Know when I get back this time I will able to carry any knife that I own legally!!!!!!
